The 26-year-old Colombian singer-songwriter and more than 150 stars will take part in OneHuManity‘s (OHMDream With Us 24-hour livestream show on Friday, May 29 at 12:00 pm ET.

Dream With Us aims to combine live musical performances, real-time challenges, one-on-one interviews and empowering stories for a full day of festivities presented by OHM Live and Constellation, an inspirational human impact organization co-founded by Dubai-based entrepreneurs Jean-Karl Saliba and Zaid Frederiks.

“Dreams can’t be quarantined. Dreams know no boundaries, no race, no color and no religion. Dreams have the power to change the world. Our vision is to amplify human connection within an ecosystem that enables dreamers to build a community and connect globally,” Saliba and Frederiks said in a statement. “We engage with humanity by using the power of our shared and collective dreams with the goal to positively reshape the narrative of our planet.”

Not only does the livestream event hope to collect one billion dreams for its unifying, algorithmically constructed “Dream Art” for viewers to share across social media, but it will collect donations to benefit Global Gift Foundation, Médecins Sans FrontièresDubai Cares, the International Red Cross, the Red Crescent Movement and FromU2ThemDream With Us will be the biggest production out of Dubai to serve the entire world.

Carlos Santana Among Artists Taking Part in ‘Artists United for Amazonia’ Global Livestream to Benefit Amazon Emergency Fund

The 72-year-old Mexican Grammy-winning guitarist and entrepreneur will be taking part in a global livestream event to benefit the Amazon Emergency Fund, an indigenous-led effort providing rapid response grants in the region to address the COVID-19 pandemic.

Santana, considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time, will be joined by Jane FondaMorgan FreemanPeter Gabriel and numerous other artists for the Thursday, May 28 event. 

They’ll join indigenous leaders, scientists and a coalition of NGOs in presentng Artists United for Amazonia: Protecting the Protectors, a livestream event produced by Artists for Amazonia

The two-hour event will run from 8:00 pm to 10 pm ETE and will be hosted by part-Spanish actress and Game of Thrones co-star Oona Chaplin, who played Talisa Maegyr on the series. The livestream will be available via Facebook and through the event website. 

The program will promote the Amazon Emergency Fund, launched last month by a coalition of indigenous organizations, NGOs, and allies to respond to the urgent needs of indigenous peoples of the Amazon threatened by COVID-19.

Funds raised will be used for: immediate prevention and care; food and medical supplies; emergency communications and evacuation; protection and security for indigenous territories; and food sovereignty and community resilience. The Amazon Emergency Fund aims to raise $5 million over the next 60 days for Forest Guardians to protect themselves against the pandemic in all nine Amazonian countries. 

The Artists United for Amazonialivestream will feature living-room musical performances, interviews, and calls to action.

Italian soccer club AC Milan and Roc Nation have joined forces to stage a virtual live event on Sunday, featuring the 37-year-old Argentine-Italian singer/songwriter and actress.

Headlined by Alicia Keys, the concert will pay tribute to workers fighting the coronaviruspandemic in Italy and beyond.

Funds raised through the event will benefit global humanitarian aid organization Direct Reliefand AC Milan’s philanthropic foundation.

Viewers will be able to donate via the “From Milan with Love” fundraising site and AC Milan’s Facebook page.

The hour-long tribute is scheduled for Sunday at 9:00 pm (1900 GMT) and will be hosted by Grammy-winning producer DJ Khaled and Italian TV presenter Diletta Leotta.

In addition to Ponce and Keys, other performers include Kelly RowlandRobin ThickeGavin Rossdale and Chris Traynor of Bush, and Jay Buchanan of Rival Sons.

Milan’s last Serie Agame was on March 8 before the league was suspended.

More than 27,000 people are known to have died from coronavirus in Italy. However, the number of daily new cases of COVID-19, as well as the fatalities, have steadily declined, and the country is set to ease lockdown measures on Monday, allowing individuals to practice sport outdoors.

Colombia Cuida Colombia is an alliance formed by local organizations, large corporations and local elected officials that has helped mitigate the COVID-19impact on the most vulnerable in Colombia like the indigenous communities, migrants and senior citizens.

The money raised during the live stream will go toward the Colombian Food Bank via gvng.org.
