Jennifer Lopez is spreading her generosity to the children of Panama…
The 42-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress, who’s up for five Teen Choice Awards, delivered medical equipment to the Panama Children’s Hospital to help “improve health care” for youngsters in the Central American country, where she’s getting ready to kick off her new world tour with Enrique Iglesias.

Lopez donated the equipment on behalf of the Lopez Family Foundation, which the American Idol judge founded together with her sister Linda, at an official event attended by Panamanian first lady Marta Linares and Health Minister Franklin Vergara.
“Having this foundation that provides medical assistance is truly a blessing” because “it gives us the chance to offer health care and education to thousands of people” in Puerto Rico and now in Panama, said la Lopez.
The equipment donated includes seven telemedicine centers, which will be installed in different pediatric centers around Panama this year.
The equipment consists of digital diagnostic equipment and videoconference stations that’ll allow doctors to interact and collaborate in their patients’ diagnosis and plans for treatment with colleagues in other Panamanian medical centers and with specialists at pediatric hospitals in Los Angeles.
J.Lo kicks off her world tour in Panama City on Thursday, with scheduled stops in Venezuela, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the United States.
