Freeform Releases Trailer for Odette Annable’s Holiday Rom-Com “No Sleep ‘Til Christmas”

Odette Annable isn’t sleeping a wink this holiday season…

Freeform has released the official trailer for No Sleep ‘Til Christmas, starring the 33-year-old Cuban and Colombian American actress and her actor-husband Dave Annable.

Odette Annable in No Sleep ‘Til Christmas

The original film, part of Freeform’s annual 25 Days of Christmas, is a holiday-themed romantic-comedy about two insomniac strangers plagued by exhaustion.

Lizzie (Odette Annable) is a high-end event planner preparing for her own life’s biggest event – her wedding. She lies awake nightly while her devoted fiancé Josh (Charles Michael Davis) rests peacefully, unaware of how to solve her issue. When a sleep-deprived incident causes her to run into Billy (Dave Annable), a low-key bartender who is just as sleepless and frustrated as she is, they discover that they can only fall asleep while next to each other. What seems like an odd coincidence, and frankly a disruption to their lives, might be more meaningful than they’d like to admit. “

No Sleep ‘Til Christmas premieres on December 10 at 9:00 pm EST/PST.

Tyler Posey to Guest Star on YouTube Comedy “Swipe Right”

Tyler Posey is taking a swipe

YouTube has rounded out the cast for Swipe Right, its multi-generational relationship comedy, with the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor signing on as a celebrity guest star.

Tyler Posey

Rosanna Arquette and newcomer Chelsea Frei will join star Carly Craig as series regulars.

In addition to Posey, best known for his starring role on MTV’s Teen Wolf, celebrity guest stars include Jason Sudeikis, Rick Springfield, Peter Gallagher, Thomas Lennon, Bryan Greenberg, Charles Michael Davis, Christopher McDonald, Rhys Coiro, Craig Frank, Alice Lee and Sarah Burns.

Written by Craig and directed by Daniel Reisinger based on a true story by Craig, Swipe Right revolves around three women. A lifetime of saying no has left Olivia (Craig) single and miserable on her 35th birthday. In Swipe Right, this workaholic verging on a breakdown vows to plunge into the hellish world of Tinder by dating all 252 of her matches. She is spurred on by her sister Jayne (Frei), a young married woman experiencing a seven-year itch. The sisters are joined by their recently widowed mother, Mary (Arquette), who now also is a part of the online dating scene.

The eight-episode comedy series is slated to debut on YouTube Red in 2018.

The CW Airs Trailer for “The Vampire Diaries” Spinoff, Featuring Pineda

Daniella Pineda is ready for her close-up…

The Mexican-American actress will be starring in next week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, which will actually serve as the pilot for The Originals, a spinoff of the CW’s hit supernatural series.

Daniella Pineda

The CW aired the pilot’s extended trailer, featuring Pineda as a witch whose magic has been silenced but not killed, after the show’s episode this week.

Airing April 25, The Originals sends Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago. He’s soon reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). Elijah (Daniel Gillies), intent on helping his self-destructive brother find redemption, must side with Marcel’s enemies in order to keep Klaus in line.

Phoebe Tonkin and Claire Holt reprise their roles, while Pineda, Danielle Campbell, and Leah Pipes join as new additions.

In the minute-long promo, we see how the story leaves Mystic Falls — with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) finding out Klaus skipped town — and follows Klaus as he reunites with his old friends.

When he reunites with Marcel, Klaus sees how different things have become and how powerful his mentee is. “Loyalty. Family. I want what he has,” Klaus says. “I want it back. I want to be king!”
