Ricky Martin is getting an urban assist…

The 44-year-old Puerto Rican singer has joined voices with Maluma for the upcoming single “Vente Pa’Ca.”

Martin and the 22-year-old Colombian reggaeton singer traded verses poolside at the SLS Miami Beach during a music video shoot for the track, which will be released on September 23, along with the music video directed by Jessy Terrero.

Billboard has released exclusive photos of Martin and Maluma shooting scenes in multiple locations at the hotel, including the pool area, where they shared the spotlight with some 50 extras, men and women, flaunting toned abs.

“Vente Pa’Ca” is a party track set over a sultry reggaetón beat. It was written by producer Alexander Castillo Vásquez (aka A.C.) who works with Dr. Luke and has written for the likes of R. Kelly, Pitbull and Justin Bieber.

Lyrics for the Spanish-language song were penned by Mau y Ricky Montaner, sons of Ricardo Montaner.

An English version is also in the works.

It was Martin’s idea to invite Maluma into the mix for the Spanish track; the Colombian star is on multiple remixes and duets lately, including one of Carlos Vives and Shakira’s “La Bicicleta.”

Aguilera & Lady Gaga Release “Do What U Want” Collaboration on iTunes

Following their hit collaboration on the finale of the fifth season of The Voice, Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga are ready to take their act to iTunes…

The pop singers kicked off the start of 2014 by releasing a studio version of their duet on Gaga’s sexified single “Do What U Want.”

Lady Gaga & Christina Aguilera

Around midnight, just after December 31 became January 1, Gaga tweeted a link to the song on iTunes and writing, “pink champagne, gold lamé, hair, and fearlessness.”

Gaga and Aguilera previously surprised and thrilled fans by performing the Gaga song together during the finale of NBC’s hit reality singing competition in December.

As 2014 arrived, Aguilera also shared news of the single release, tweeting, “Happy New Year! Loved performing #DWUW with Lady Gaga, so we made a special version.”

Before the new version, Gaga released “Do What U Want” featuring R. Kelly on her 2013 album “ARTPOP.”

“Do What U Want” is the second single off Gaga’s latest album, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 after being released back in November.

Mars Releases Steamy “Gorilla” Remix

Bruno Mars is the G-mix master…

The 28-year-old part-Puerto Rican singer has released a bawdy remix of his latest single “Gorilla.”

Mars, who recently won an MTV EMA award, partnered with Pharrell Williams and R. Kelly on the updated version of the single from his hit album Unorthodox Jukebox.

Mars dropped the remix on Twitter, saying it featured “two of [his] favorite artist[s].”

The original “Gorilla,” with its lines about primal, uninhibited sex, was already dirty, but Mars has taken it a step further.

The remix — referred to officially as a ‘G-mix‘ — features Pharrell making a number of sexual allusions to yoga poses, though it’s R. Kelly that gets down and dirty, imitating the “ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh”s of the original and primates themselves while declaring that he’ll make a certain part of your anatomy growl.

The release of the remix follows the official “Gorilla” video, a sizzling clip that was released last month.

“Gorilla” sits at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 — six spots down from its No. 22 peak last week.

Hernandez & Cabello’s Group to Perform with Lovato on ‘X Factor’ Finale

This season, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Camila Cabello’s all-girl group Fifth Harmony has performed two Demi Lovato songs on this season of The X Factor. But now the ladies will be sharing the stage with theshow’s impartial judge during the show’s finals…

Following suit with last year’s tradition each of the final three acts will be joined by a celebrity musician for a star-powered duet. During a press conference to promote the finale on Monday, judges Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Lovato and L.A. Reid joined their mentees Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar and Tate Stevens, respectively, and answered questions from reporters, where Cowell revealed his plan to have the ladies sing with Lovato.

Fifth Harmony

“Kinda irritating to say, the person we’ve decided to duet with is Demi Lovato,” said Cowell of his all-girl group.

Following a season of sparring between judges Cowell and Lovato, it will be nice to see the 20-year-old part-Mexican American singer support one of Cowell’s acts — especially after two of their most memorable performances came during covers of her tracks (“Skyscraper” and “Give Your Heart a Break“).

Meanwhile, Stevens  will perform with Grammy nominee Little Big Town.

“It’s gonna be awesome,” Stevens said of performing with the country quartet.

Spears’ 13-year-old mentee Sonenclar also landed a country act for her collaboration: LeAnn Rimes. It’s somewhat of a surprise choice since the tween sensation hasn’t once performed a country song all season.

“I think she’s amazing,” Sonenclar said of Rimes.

Last season, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette and R. Kelly appeared on the closer, which saw Chris Rene, Josh Krajnik and Melanie Amaro battling for the $5 million recording contract.
