Fat Joe to Guest Co-Host “The Wendy Williams Show”

Fat Joe is returning to the hosting chair…

The Wendy Williams Show has announced guest hosts for the month of February amid Williams’ continued absence due to health issues, with the 51-year-old Puerto Rican and Cuban rapper set to return to the show.

Fat-JoeFat Joe and Remy Ma will make a return appearance as they take over the reins beginning Monday, February 7, through Friday, February 11.

Comedian Michael Rapaport will return as guest host of the syndicated daytime talker beginning Monday, January 31, through Friday, February 4.

Bevy Smith and Terrence J, who make their co-hosting debut, will host from Monday, February 14 through Friday, February 18, and Sherri Shepherd from February 21, through February 25.

Rapaport returns to take the helm from Monday, February 28, through Friday, March 4.

The show has pulled in a rotating list of guest hosts since the beginning of the 13th season. The scheduled September premiere was pushed three times due to Williams’ COVID-19 diagnosis, followed by ongoing health issues.

Williams has battled various maladies over during the past few years. Her battle with Graves disease, an immune system disorder, dates to 1999, and her show went on hiatus in 2018. She also passed out on live TV in 2017 during the show’s Halloween episode, an incident that was attributed to dehydration.

Global Citizen has announced several guest appearances for its annual Global Citizen Festival on September 23, including the 25-year-old part-Mexican American actress/singer.

Lovato will serve as a co-host, alongside Aaron Paul, Priyanka Chopra, Kal PennLupita Nyong’o, Nashville‘s Connie Britton and many more.

Hugh Jackman and actor/producer Deborra-lee Furness will serve as lead hosts.

Dianna Agron, Freida Pinto, Wendy WilliamsMark CubanBridget MoynahanDaymond JohnCamren BicondovaElaine Welteroth, Erin Richards, Latina supermodel Joan Smalls, Malin Akerman, Rachel BrosnahanMichelle Monaghan and Serge Ibaka will also serve as hosts for this year’s festival, taking place in New York City’s Central Park.

The social advocacy group hosts the free festival each year to raise awareness of its goal to end extreme poverty by 2030.

Fans can earn their tickets by taking part in Action Journeys, a series of challenges designed to promote social activism.

This year’s headliners include Stevie Wonder, Green Day, The Killers and The Lumineers, with featured performances by The ChainsmokersPharrell Williams, Big SeanAndra Day and Alessia Cara.

The one-day festival will also be broadcast live from Central Park on YouTube, Twitter and MSNBC.

Blacc to Perform at This Year’s Soul Train Awards

Aloe Blacc is ready to bring soul to the Soul Train Awards

The 35-year-old Panamanian American singer-songwriter is scheduled to perform at this year’s awards show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Blacc, a two-time nominee this year, will take the Orleans Arena stage in Las Vegas on November 7. 

He joins a roster of Soul Train Award performers that includes Chris BrownNico & Vinz, Lisa Stansfield, Kem, Alyson Cambridge, BeBe Winans of 3WB, Jeremih and Liv Warfield.

Wendy Williams will host the event, airing November 30 at 8:00 pm ET on Centric and BET networks.

“Each year, we have the honor of hosting an incredibly special night that brings together the industry’s hottest acts, while paying homage to soul music icons,” said Paxton Baker, general manager and executive vp, Centric, in a statement. “We are thrilled to offer a platform where music superstars like Chris Brown and Trey Songz can share the stage with an industry veteran like Wendy Williams and a gospel legend like BeBe Winans.”

Blacc is nominated in the Songwriter’s Award and Video of the Year categories for his hit single “The Man.”

The 2014 Soul Train Awards is directed by Tony McCuin and produced by BET Event Productions and Sunseeker Media.

The 32-year-old part-Puerto Rican actress is starring in the sequel to the hit film Think Like a Man, which just saw its first trailer released online.

Entitled Think Like a Man Too, the film is a follow-up to the 2012 Screen Gems film based on Steve Harvey’s best-selling relationships book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.

In addition to Good, the film also stars Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, Terrence Jenkins, Jerry Ferrara, Romany Malco, Gary Owen, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, Jenifer Lewis, and Wendy Williams, who were all in the first film.

Lozada’s cheeky new winter-themed anti-fur ad, shot by celebrity photographer Drexina Nelson, features the reality television star laying on her stomach with her bare legs dangling in the air and covered with faux snow.

“I’m an animal lover,” she says in a new promo spot for the campaign. “I’m definitely one of those people who wore fur years ago. I was looking online and I saw how these animals are tortured…You don’t really realize the hurt and the pain that they go through.”


In the PETA ad, Lozada shows the world that a woman doesn’t need to wear fur to be glamorous or beautiful.

She’s the latest in a long line of celebrities who’d “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur,” including Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Christy Turlington, Wendy Williams, Joanna Krupa and Bethenny Frankel.
