Alejandro G. Alegre is ready to make you scream…
Horror film festival Screamfest has announced the first wave of programming for the 2016 edition of the event, with the Latino fillmmaker’s latest project making the list.
Inicuo: The Brotherhood, which Alegre wrote, directed and produced, will have its LA premiere at Screamfest, the largest and longest running horror film festival in the United States.
The film centers on Federico, a man who has lost everything in life, so he creates a new religious cult kidnaps Fernando, a former business partner, who is trying to leave as heir of worship amid a slaughter justified by their own past tragedies.
The film stars Isaac Pérez Calzada, Marcos Duarte, Verónica de Alba, Guillermo Jair and Rodrigo Ostap.
Screamfest will take place on October 18-21 at the TLC Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, with actress Lydia Hearst serving as the festival ambassador.
