Cabral to Star in Fox’s “Enlisted” Pilot

Angelique Cabral has officially enlisted

The 34-year-old part-Latina actress has landed the female lead role in Fox’s comedy pilot Enlisted.

The television project, written by Kevin Biegel, centers on three distinctly different brothers working together in the U.S. Army. The brothers include Sgt. Pete Waits (portrayed by Geoff Stults) who is stationed at a small military base in Florida after serving in Afghanistan to tackle the toughest battle he’s faced — leading his dysfunctional brothers’ squad.

Cabral, who appeared in the original Devious Maids pilot, will play Jill Perez, a tough as nails sergeant at the army base who is beloved by her soldiers and leads a unit in the Rear Detachment.

She recently appeared in a recurring role on ABC’s Don’t Trust The B— in Apartment 23. Her other credits include The Glades, Happy Endings and Free Agents.
