Cardi B is the Youngest Artist on Forbes’ Highest Paid Hip-Hop Acts List

Cardi B is all rapped up in the dough…

The 26-year-old half-Dominican American rap superstar is the highest ranking Latina/o on Forbes’ Highest Paid Hip-Hop Act list.

The “I Like It” singer, who just made her big screen debut in the Jennifer Lopez-led film Hustlers, comes in at No. 13 on the chart, with reported $28 million worth of pre-tax income from June 2018 through June of this year. 

Cardi B is the youngest artist in this year’s rankings—and she joins Nicki Minaj(No. 12, $29 million) as one of only two women on the list, the latest example of a pay gap that has long plagued hip-hop.

Swizz Beatzranks as the top Latino on the chart…

The 41-year-old part Puerto Rican hip hop recording artist, DJ, record producer, art collector, and entrepreneur, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, comes in at No. 14 on the list, with reported earnings of $23 million during the tracking period.

Pitbull rounds out the list…

The 38-year-old Cuban American rapper, commonly referred to as Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide, comes in at No. 20 with earnings of $18 million.
