Carlos Arroyo is Back with New Single “Baila Reggaeton,” Featuring Zion & Lennox

Carlos Arroyo is back… And, he’s ready to bailar.

After a nine-year hiatus from the music business, the 40-year-old Puerto Rican NBA-star-turned singer officially makes his comeback with his catchy new single “Baila Reggaeton,” in collaboration with Zion & Lennox.

The single, produced by Los Legendariosand managed by Duars Entertainment, also marks Arroyo’s first release under the independent record label, RIMAS.

Arroyo and Zion & Lennox have created a catchy reggaeton track about a couple dancing to the urban beat all night long. The music video, filmed by Gustavo “Gus” Camachofrom Mastermind Entertainmentin Miami, shows Arroyo, the renowned duo, and a group of dancers having a good time in a neon-drenched warehouse.

“I’m really excited about the release of my new single, and it’s truly an honor to collaborate with icons of the urban genre,” the former NBA star said in a press statement. “I feel super proud about this project that we’ve been working for quite some time and I’m happy to share it with all my fans.”

Arroyo kicked off his music career in 2009 and has collaborated with artists like Yomo and Ivy Queen

He previously became a household name thanks to his basketball career. From 2001 to 2011, he played for the Toronto RaptorsDenver NuggetsDetroit PistonsBoston CelticsOrlando Magicand Miami Heat, becoming the fifth Puerto Rican player to play in the NBA.
