The idea of the concert series was born originally from the third most followed playlist on the streaming music platform, ¡Viva Latino! Playlist.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 14.
The 31-year-old part-Spanish and part-Dominican American singeris set to perform at this year’s Lights On Festival in Concord, California on September 14.
The festival, curated by H.E.R. in partnership withLive Nation Urban, will feature a stacked lineup of well-established R&B singers alongside some burgeoning acts set to make serious noise in 2019.
In addition to headlining performances by H.E.R., Aiko, and Daniel Caesar, the event will also feature perormances by Summer Walker, Ari Lennox, Kiana Ledé, DaniLeigh, Melii, Lucky Daye, Marc E. Bassy, LONR, Tone Stith, bLAck pARty and Rayana Jay.
Pre-sale tickets will be available on June 12, while going on sale to the general public on June 14.

Cleopatra Entertainment has acquired the North American rights to Amanda Kramer’s thriller Ladyworld, starring the 20-year-old Mexican American actress.
A modernized all-female story inspired by Lord of the Flies, the film made its world premiere at Fantastic Festlast year. Ladyworld follows a group of girls that get stuck in a house during a slumber party due to an apocalyptic event, stress and fear cause them to degenerate into savagery.
In addition to Barer, the film also stars Maya Hawke, Annalise Basso, Ryan Simpkins, Odessa Adlon, Tatsumi Romano, Zora Casebereand Atheena Frizzell.
Kramer wrote the film along with Benjamin Shearn. The film is produced by Love & Death Productions’ Leal Naimand Thomas R. Burkealongside Kramer.
Ladyworld will have a theatrical release on August 2, which will be followed by a VODand DVD release on August 27.

The 46-year-old Mexican actress, who starred in Telemundo’s wildly popular La Reina del Surseries, will return to the New York stage this summer in the Off Broadway production of Isaac Gomez’s the way she spoke, directed by Jo Bonney as the next Audible Theater production at the Minetta Lane Theatre.
Previews begin on Monday, July 8, with opening night set for Thursday, July 18. The Minetta Lane, in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, is home base for Audible’s live performances, with productions recorded and released by Audible as audio plays.
the way she spoke follows an actress who enters a theater, picks up a script, and begins to read a story that reveals “disturbing and haunting accounts of the murder of thousands of women in Juarez, Mexico and one playwright’s journey of discovery and responsibility.”

del Castillo, set to co-star with Will Smithand Martin Lawrencein 2020’s Bad Boys For Life, has been a popular star of Mexican television since her teens, but her performance on La Reina del Sur in 2011 became a cultural phenomenon. A second season launched last month. The series, produced by Telemundo and Spain’s Antena 3, is a primetime serial that chronicles del Castillo’s Teresa character, a Mexican woman who rises to great power through international drug trafficking (Alice Bragaplays the character in USA Networks’ American versionQueen of the South).
del Castillo’s other credits include Jane The Virgin, Under the Same Moon, The 33, All About Nina, and the upcoming Bad Boys For Life.

The film is going out on the Nationwide Alliance of Arthouse Cinemas network, which includes approximately 3,897 screens.
It’s not yet clear how many screens Romawill access, but the Middle Kingdom release could effectively be the widest play the film will have had theatrically.
