Liza Lapira is ready for perfection…
The 33-year-old part-Spanish American actress has landed a starring role opposite Jenna Elfman in Fox’s untitled Dana Klein comedy pilot, from 20th Century Fox Television and Kapital Entertainment.
Written/exec produced by Klein and directed by Pam Fryman, the story is told from the point of view of Ellen (Elfman), a working mom who is in constant competition with her perfect, stay-at-home sister-in-law Amy, portrayed by Lapira.
Brian Austin Green plays Amy’s husband Jack Stanley, an undisciplined, laid back, rule breaker who pretty much does whatever he wants and doesn’t worry about the consequences (except when it comes to his wife, Amy, who terrifies him).
Matt Letscher was previously cast as the other Stanley brother, Ellen’s husband Matt.
Lapira recurs on the new CBS series Battle Creek.
Her previous credits include appearances on NCIS, Traffic Light, Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 and Super Fun Night.
