Maluma Renews Worldwide Agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing

The 25-year-old Colombian singer has renewed his worldwide agreement with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

“We are a team and together we have built my career globally,” Maluma said in a press statement. “What comes next is to keep writing great music and bringing happiness to the world!”

Maluma, born Juan Luis Londoño, signed the original agreementat the age of 23 in 2017, his first major publishing deal. Maluma was signed by Jorge Mejia, Sony/ATV’s president for Latin America and US Latin, with direct involvement from then-Sony/ATV chairman and CEO Martin Bandier and from Sony/ATV U.S. co-president Danny Strick.

Maluma’s album 11:11 is nominated for the best Latin pop album award at the 2020 Grammys.
