Mars Receives Three American Music Award Nominations

Bruno Mars is one of this year’s American Music masters…

The 28-year-old part-Puerto Rican singer has received three American Music Award nominations, including a nod for the coveted Artist of the Year prize.

Bruno Mars

Mars is up against Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Rihanna, Taylor Swift
and Justin Timberlake in the highly competitive category.

The “When I Was Your Man” singer is also up for Favorite Male Artist, Pop/Rock
and Favorite Artist, Adult Contemporary.

But Mars isn’t the only Latino artist nominated for an AMA award…

Miguel earned a nod in the Favorite Male Artist, Soul/R&B
category, where he’ll face off against Robin Thicke
and Justin Timberlake. It’s only the second career nomination for the 27-year-old half-Mexican singer.

Meanwhile, the Favorite Artist, Latin
category features three of the hottest names in Latin music: Marc Anthony, Prince Royce
and Romeo Santos.

The 2013 American Music Awards will air on November 24 on ABC.
