Lin-Manuel Miranda is taking his career to new heights… as he return to television with another guest-starring role.
The 32-year-old Puerto Rican actor, composer, rapper and lyricist has signed on for a recurring role on NBC’s midseason drama Do No Harm.
Starring Steven Pasquale, the series centers on Jeffrey Kohn, a brilliant neurosurgeon wrestling with his dangerous alter ego who threatens to wreak havoc on his personal and professional life.
Miranda—best known for writing and starring in the Broadway musical In the Heights, which earned him a Tony Award as composer and lyricist and a Grammy—will play the attending clinical pharmacologist at a Philadelphia hospital who works to help Jeffrey.
Most recently Miranda had a two-episode arc on the Fox’s drama House. And he appeared in an episode of HBO’s The Sopranos.
