She’s just launched her Hollywood career in Sherlock Homes: A Game of Shadows, which opened nationwide today… But Noomi Rapace isn’t slowing down her oh-so-hot career.
The 31-year-old half-Spanish actress—who starred as Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish/Danish film adaptations of late author Stieg Larsson’s “Millennium series” books—has signed on to appear in Passion opposite The Notebook star Rachel McAdams.
The psychological suspense thriller is an English-language adaptation from writer-director Brian De Palma of the French psychodrama Crime
The original starred Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ludivine Sagnier as a conniving boss and her ambitious protégé, respectively.
No word yet on which roles Rapace and McAdams will play in De Palma’s version, which will begin filming in March.
In the meantime, Rapace contnues promoting the just-released Sherlock Holmes sequel throughout the world and will appear in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi mystery project Prometheus.
