Michelle Rodriguez isn’t afraid of a good challenge…
In a new clip for Fast & Furious 6, which features the 34-year-old Puerto Rican and Dominican American actress’ “return from the dead,” Rodriguez’s character chats briefly with Vin Diesel’s character, who challenges her to a race with him.
British singer Rita Ora then steals the spotlight for a second when the singer, who appears as the “head girl” of a London racing crew, gets the honor of being the starter girl.
“This is London, baby,” she says, before finally letting Rodriguez and Vin Diesel start their race.
Fast & Furious 6 centers on Dom and his crew as they are given a task by Hobbs to stop an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers, which is apparently led by Owen Shaw with Dom’s ex-girlfriend Letty (Rodriguez) as his assistant.
Despite the shocking return of Letty, Dom and his friends still regroup in London to do their job with full pardons to return home and make their families whole again as their payment.
The film, which also stars Jordana Brewster, Paul Walker and Luke Evans, is slated for release on May 24 in the United States.
