Make that two Olympic bronze medals for Rafael Silva

The 29-year-old Brazilian judoka defeated Abdullo Tangriev of Uzbekistan in the Bronze Medal Bout A of the Men’s >100 kg judo competition at the 2016 Rio Games.

Silva had previously become Brazil’s first Olympic medalist in the judo heavyweight division (>100 kg) back at the 2012 London Games, taking home the bronze medal.

Silva won the Pan American Judo Championships in 2012–2014 and 2016.
