Jearnest Corchado to Star in Peacock’s Original Holiday Movie “The Real Housewives of the North Pole”

Jearnest Corchado has landed a Real exciting holiday project…

The 25-year-old Puerto Rican actress and producer has been cast in Peacock’s original holiday movie The Real Housewives of the North Pole.

Corchado joins a roster of cast newcomers that includes Kyle SeligTetona JacksonCarlos PonceAlec Mapa and Damon Dayoub.

They’ll join Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards and Betsy Brandt in the film spawned by the reality franchise. It’s set to premiere later this year on Peacock.

In The Real Housewives of the North Pole, the Christmas Queens of North Pole, Vermont, Trish (Richards) and Diana (Brandt), have won the Best Holiday House decorating competition every year for the past nine years. But days before Christmas, a friendship-ending argument sparks a town-wide feud and draws the attention of a national magazine writer hoping to make a name for herself with her scintillating expose titled, “Real Housewives of the North Pole.”

Corchado will play Skye, Trish’s daughter, home for the holiday break, who always feels the need to be perfect for her mom… which has made tensions extra high this Christmas.

Ponce is Paul, Trish’s husband who feels guilty about leaving his family for a Christmas work trip… but someone has to pay for the palace.

The Real Housewives of the North Pole will be produced by holiday movie specialist Motion Picture Corporation of America. Ron Oliver will direct.

Corchado’s previous credits include appearance in Sneakerheads and Little America.

Quiver Distribution & Redbox Entertainment to Release Bella Thorne’s Action-Comedy “Chick Fight” in November

Bella Thorne is bringing the fight to the big screen…

Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment have acquired the North American rights to the action-comedy Chick Fight, starring the 22-year-old half-Cuban American actress/singer, Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin and Kevin Connolly.

Paul Leyden directed the film, which will get a day-and-date release on November 13.

Written by first-time feature writer Joseph Downey, the plot follows Anna Wyncomb (Akerman), who’s introduced to an underground, all-female fight club in order to turn her life around, when she discovers she’s much more personally connected to the history of the club than she could ever imagine.

Dominique Jackson, former pro-wrestler Kevin Nash, Fortune Feimster, Dulcé Sloan, and Alec Mapa round out the cast.

Thorne’s previous credits include BlendedThe DUFFAlvin and the Chipmunks: The Road ChipAmityville: The Awakening and Infamous.
