The full lineup of presenters for Sunday’s Golden Globes is set, with the 39-year-old Honduran American award-winning actress among the artists set to hand out trophies at the Beverly Hilton.

Jo Koy will host the Golden Globes, which will honor the year’s best in motion pictures and television.

The ceremony will air beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Among this year’s Golden Globe nominees in 26 categories, 2023’s box office champ Barbie from Warner Bros leads all films with nine, followed by Universal’Oppenheimer with eight and Apple’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Searchlight’s Poor Things with seven apiece.

In the TV races, HBO’s final go-round with Succession has nine noms, the most-ever for a series, scoring mentions in all categories in which it was eligible.

The 62-year-old Mexican American stand-up comedian and actor appears on the first list of presenters for Sunday’s 81st Golden Globe Awards.

This year’s Globes — it’s first time back on CBS since 1982 — include two new awards categories: Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television.

Longtime Globes producer Dick Clark Productions is planning, hosting and producing this year’s awards after the Globes’ assets, rights and properties were acquired by Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association back in June.

Paramount to Release New “Mean Girls” Film Starring Auli’i Cravalho in January 2024

Paramount plans to release its new Mean Girls film, starring the 22-year-old part-Puerto Rican actress/singer and Moana lead, will be released theatrically on January 12, 2024, during the four-day Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday weekend.

Auli’i CravalhoParamount had originally planned to release the film via Paramount+.

In addition to Cravalho, the new film stars Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Jaquel SpiveyTina Fey, Tim Meadows, Jenna Fischer, Busy Philipps, Avantika, Mahi Alam, Christopher Briney, Bebe Wood, Ashley Park, Connor Ratliff and Jon Hamm.

Arturo Perez and Samantha Jayne are directing the new film, from a script by Fey.

Broadway Video’s Lorne Michaels has returned to produce alongside Fey.

The original Mean Girls film, directed by Mark Waters and penned by Fey off of Rosalind Wiseman’s novel, grossed more than $130 million worldwide and blasted off the careers of Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried while also repping a box office hit for Lindsay Lohan at the time.

Sony Lands Global Rights to Ariana DeBose’s Upcoming Film “My Ex-Friend’s Wedding”

It’s a moment of wedding bliss for Ariana DeBose.

Sony has landed global rights to the Sister comedy My Ex-Friend’s Wedding, starring the 32-year-old half-Puerto Rican Oscar-winning actress/singer.

Ariana DeBose,To be directed by Kay Cannon, the film is penned by New York Times bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid and Ashley Rodger, with revisions by Cannon.

In addition to DeBose, the cast includes Chloe Fineman, Megan Stalter and Amanda Seyfried.

In the film heading into production this summer, four childhood best friends get a drunken voicemail from their former best friend on the eve of her wedding day — confessing that she thinks she’s making a mistake — then setting out to stop her wedding and rekindle the friendship they once shared.

Sister acquired the My Ex-Friend’s Wedding spec script in a competitive situation after it was developed by production and management company, Circle of Confusion.

Camila Cabello to Be Honored During Variety’s “2022 Power of Women” Event

The 25-year-old Cuban & Mexican singer and former Fifth Harmony member, who released her third solo studio album Familia earlier this month, will be among the honorees at Variety’s 2022 Power of Women: New York event.

Cabello, a three-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum, and chart-topping singer/songwriter, is being honored for her work with the The Healing Justice Project.

In January 2021, Cabello and Movement Voter Fund launched the initiative to provide direct funding to provide culturally relevant mental health and wellness resources to youth activists and grassroots organizations working at the intersection of racial and economic justice, electoral organizing, and other movements that propel this country forward.

The in-person event will take place at The Glasshouse on May 5. Presented in partnership with Lifetime, the event gathers an intimate group of philanthropic women who have been selected as Variety’s honorees, as well as the most powerful women working in media and entertainment.

Each of the six honorees will be featured on the cover of Variety’s Power of Women issue, available May 4.

The issue will include the annual Women’s Impact Report, which highlights the top 50 women working in media and entertainment who made an impact this year on the industry.

Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the sequel to Mamma Mia! The Movie, starring the 61-year-old Cuban actor.

The sequel shifts back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present.

Ten years after Mamma Mia! The Movie grossed $610M worldwide, everybody’s back on the Greek island of Kalokairi for an all-new original musical based on the songs of the Swedish pop sensations.

All of the original cast returns including Meryl Streep, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard.

Garcia is new to the island, along with Lily James showing off some pipes as Young Donna, Alexa Davies, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Jeremy Irvine, Josh Dylan and Hugh Skinner.

Cher also turns up in the trailer above as grandmother Ruby Sheridan.

Ol Parker writes and directs the sequel from a story by Catherine Johnson, Richard Curtis and Parker.

The musical comedy will open domestically in the U.S. on July 20, 2018.

The 38-year-old Mexican actress has booked an arc on the upcoming new installment of David Lynch’s groundbreaking 1990 supernatural mystery series Twin Peaks.

New cast additions for the new season, set for an early 2017 premiere, are also believed to include Naomi Watts, Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Amanda Seyfried, Ashley Judd, Tom Sizemore, Balthazar Getty, Patrick FischlerDavid DastmalchianGrant Goodeve, Larry Clarke and Caleb Landry Jones.

Lynch is directing the new installment from a script he co-wrote with fellow Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost.

Ferrer to Reprise His Role on the New Installment of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks”

The 60-year-old half-Puerto Rican actor is set to reprise his iconic role on David Lynch’s upcoming new installment of his groundbreaking 1990 mystery series Twin Peaks for Showtime, according to Deadline.com.

Ferrer will reportedly return to reprise his role as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield from the original series in the new season, set to debut in 2017.

In eight episodes of the 1990 series, Ferrer played Rosenfield, a cynical city slicker FBI forensics specialist who butted heads with Twin Peaks Sheriff Harry S. Truman.

The only actor officially confirmed for the new Twin Peaks is the show’s original star Kyle MacLachlan, who is set to reprise his role as Dale Cooper.

Sheryl Lee, who played victim Laura Palmer in the original, also is back — she has been snapped by paparazzi filming scenes with MacLachlan.

Additionally, David Patrick Kelly is said to be reprising his role as Jerry Horne, with Richard Beymer rumored to be resurrecting his character of Jerry’s brother Benjamin.

New cast additions include Jennifer Jason LeighRobert KnepperBalthazar Getty and Amanda Seyfried.

Ferrer, the son of Academy Award winner José Ferrer, is a regular on NCIS: Los Angeles.

Lopez to Serve as a Presenter at Sunday’s Golden Globes

The 42-year-old Puerto Rican actress/singer will be one of the presenters at this year’s awards show.

Lopez was one of the first celebrities announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as a presenter for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, along with la Lopez’s Parker co-star Jason Statham, George Clooney, Will Ferrell, Jennifer Garner, Debra Messing, Jeremy Renner, Amanda Seyfried, Meryl Streep, Kerry Washington and Kristen Wiig.

Each of the scheduled presenters is either a past Globe winner or nominee.

More names will be announced in the lead-up to the telecast, which will be broadcast live on NBC this Sunday, January 13 at 8:00pm ET from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler serving as this year’s hosts.

This year’s Latino nominees include three-time nominee Sofia Vergara.

The Spanish costume designer, new to the Hollywood scene, is seeing his name at the top of many Oscar prediction lists thanks to his work in Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper‘s much anticipated film adaptation of the Broadway musical Les Misérables.

And now Delgado’s opening up about his inspiration and the resulting costumes in a special video leading up to the film’s release.
