Gomez is hauled off in handcuffs by police from a house party and taken into custody in the clip.

“This is the most exciting thing I’ve ever done,” she says at one point.

The film follows Rick Stevens (portrayed by Nat Wolff) who is willing to do whatever it takes to try and win the heart of his popular classmate Nina Pennington (Gomez). He also has to fend off unwanted advances from cougar (Elisabeth Shue) and sultry defense attorney (Heather Graham).

Gomez’s co-stars include Dylan McDermott, Mary-Louise Parker, Gary Busey, and Jason Lee.

Based on Ric Browde‘s novel While I’m Dead Feed the Dog, the movie will hit theaters across the country on August 1.
