The 28-year-old part-Mexican American singer-songwriter and R&B superstar has released her latest single “After Hours,” her first new solo single since 2022.

KehlaniThe new single, produced by Khris Riddick and Alex Goldblatt, sees Kehlani embrace a bouncier, dance-inspired sound as she lets her lover know that she’s tired of beating around the bush — it’s time to make something happen.

Utilizing an expertly-placed sample of Cordel “Scatta” Burrell’s “Coolie Dance Rhythm,” Kehlani makes a persuasive case for spending some extra time with her “After Hours.”

Produced by Pop Wansel of production duo Pop & Oak and featuring contributions from Justin Bieber, Jessie Reyez, Syd, Blxst, Thundercat and Ambré.

Kehlani has new representation…

The 28-year-old part-Mexican American singer-songwriter and two-time Grammy nominee has signed with Wasserman Music for global representation.

KehlaniAgents Brent Smith and Eli Gelernter will serve as Kehlani’s representatives at the company.

The signing follows the singer-songwriter’s extensive world tour supporting her most recent album, Blue Water Road.

In 2017, Kehlani was awarded the Rulebreaker Award at the Billboard Women in Music event.

Kehlani is managed by David Ali at Above Ground Management and signed to Atlantic Records.

The 26-year-old part-Mexican American singer-songwriter has released Blue Water Road, her third full-length album.

KehlaniKehlani, a two-time Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter, has described her latest effort as an exploration of an “emotional, sexual and spiritual journey,” and features assists from Justin Bieber, Blxst, Jessie Reyez, Syd and others.

Pop Wansel of Pop & Oak executive produced the new set, which dropped at the stroke of midnight and collects 13 tracks, including the previously-released “altar,” “little story,” and “Up At Night,” featuring Bieber.

“I want you to hear the time we put into it, the dedication we put into it, the joy we put into it, and the heart we put into it. There’s a serious pulse. I’m at peace now,” Kehlani explains of the LP.

“I’m just a hard-working mom who is only focused on creating my own little world with my family. I’m a completely different person than I could’ve been, even in my wildest dreams. When you listen to this, I really hope you feel like you went to Blue Water Road and were there with me.”

Blue Water Road is the follow up to 2020’s star-studded It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, which bowed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and led the Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart.

Kehlani broke through with her 2017 debut SweetSexySavage, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. In the same year, she collected the “Rule Breaker” award at Billboard’s Women in Music.

The 26-year-old part-Mexican American singer-songwriter has joined voices with Justin Bieber for the stunning new single “Up At Night.”

The grooving R&B jam, with Bieber stopping in for a guest verse, is the second single the pair has collaborated on, following their 2020 duet “Get Me” off of Bieber’s Changes.

At the onset, “Up At Night” sounds like many of Kehlani’s recent singles leading up to her new album — ethereal, smooth, and sultry. But by the time it reaches the chorus, the song ratchets up, with a kicked-back beat and some slick guitars bringing a vibe-driven dance feel to the track.

Once Kehlani’s finished letting their vocals shine on the infectious chorus, Bieber takes over, crooning about his romantic obsession, his energy perfectly matching Kehlani’s. “You’rе the light of my life, you’re my mеanin’/ Girl, you got what I want, what I needed,” Bieber sings.

In a statement, Kehlani gave fans some insight on the song’s meaning, while also offering props to Bieber for joining her on the single. “It’s about having a healthily obsessed relationship. You’re telling someone, ‘I love you so much it keeps me awake at night,’” she said. “I love what Justin did, and it’s such a fun one to dance to.”

“Up All Night” is the latest single off of Blue Water Road, Kehlani’s hotly anticipated third studio album.

Last week, the star announced that the album would drop April 29 via Atlantic Records, and shared that the album would be an “emotional journey, a sexual journey, and a spiritual journey.”

The 26-year-old part-Mexican American Grammy-nominated singer has released her latest single “Altar,” as well as the song’s official music video.

“Don’t know why I ever thought you were far away,” Kehlani sings on the stunning new track, “I should’ve known better.”

“Altar” is a song about spirituality — believing the people we’ve lost are close to us, even when we cannot see them — and in that faith Kehlani sounds renewed, letting her voice sparkle over an inviting bed of synths and previewing her forthcoming album Blue Water Road with a confident synthesis of a universal theme.

Kehlani is taking it to the Road…

The 26-year-old part-Mexican American Grammy-nominated singer is set to release her next album, Blue Water Road, this winter.

Kehlani took to Twitter to share the minute-long trailer soundtracked by dramatic orchestral music, which shows Kehlani “coming out of the rubble of It Was Good Until It Wasnt and into the light, on to the road,” as she described it. The singer, who has an injured leg in the video, hobbles down the titular road and befriends a dragonfly that succumbs to a larger, unknown power.

The R&B singer released her second studio album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t on May 8, 2020. The project reached No. 2 on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.

One fan on Twitter noticed the continuity in the imagery from IWGUIW, which depicted on its cover art the “Toxic” singer escaping the chaos on one side of a brick wall only to find out the other side doesn’t promise an easier life, to Blue Water Road. “WAIT THIS MAKES SENSE!!! So your leg was hurt from the It was Good Until It Wasn’t Cover!” Twitter user @_serialov3r wrote.

The Grammy-nominated singer shared the theory with the bullseye emoji to commend the fan for nailing it.
