Rodriguez Cast in CBS’ Drama Pilot “Reckless”

Adam Rodriguez is headed back to the force for his next project.

The 37-year-old Puerto Rican/Cuban-American actor, who will be appearing in a recurring role on Fox’s The Goodwin Games this May, has landed a co-starring role on CBS’ drama pilot Reckless.

The project, set in Charleston, South Carolina, centers on Jamie (portrayed by Anna Wood), a beautiful Yankee litigator, and Roy (Cam Gigandet), a city attorney from the South, who struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal.

Rodriguez will portray Preston, a well-respected police detective who works in the Charleston Police Department alongside Trey (Shawn Hatosy).

Should the project get a series order, it would mark the Magic Mike star’s return to CBS following the cancellation of CSI: Miami, where he portrayed Detective Eric Delko.
