The 41-year-old Puerto Rican and Dominican American singer-songwriter has released his latest single “Toy a Mil” via Sony Music Latin.

Nicky JamPacked with Caribbean-packed sounds, the track is described as a “full-on summer jam.”

The track fins Nicky Jam meshing Jamaican reggae beats with Dominican dembow, while belting sensual and playful lyrics full of Dominican slang.

An invitation to start the party, the Jorge Milliano-produced track focuses on a girl Nicky Jam was waiting for to be single.

The just-as-vibrant music video captures the veteran hitmaker having a “boys night out” with perreo duo Jowell & Randy — who doesn’t shy away from doing the signature Dembow dance, holding a party foam cup in one hand and swaying the other side to side to the thumping rhythm.

Bad Bunny has officially kicked off the summer season…

The 28-year-old Puerto Rican superstar has finally unveiled Un Verano Sin Ti, his long-awaited new studio album.

Bad BunnyReleased via Rimas Entertainment, Bad Bunny’s latest album navigates through summers in Puerto Rico with crashing ocean waves, breezy palm trees, and seagulls calling, interlaced in nearly all 23 tracks.

Seemingly crafted at the beach in part with hitmakers Tainy and MAG, Bad Bunny describes this set as “special” and “emotional,” because it “it reflects all of my summers growing up,” he said on The View. 

Beyond its ode to summers in Puerto Rico, Un Verano Sin Ti unites edgy EDM beats, hard-hitting perreos, and tons of Caribbean flavors: bomba, merengue, afrobeat, reggae, dembow.

It’s home to lyrics about love, heartbreak, empowerment, and human rights — as heard in the Buscabulla-assisted “Andrea,” which according to the duo, “paints a portrait of a present-day young Puerto Rican woman and expresses her struggles without being condescending or preachy but complex and nuanced.”

Un Verano Sin Ti was released with focus single “Moscow Mule,” a refreshing reggaeton track that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the album.

Maluma Releases Surprise New Conceptual & Visual Project “7 Días en Jamaica”

The 27-year-old Colombian singer, known as Papi Juancho, has released 7 Días en Jamaica, a conceptual and visual project that follows the singer during seven days in Jamaica.

Laced with dancehall and afrobeat and featuring his signature reggaetón style, the tracks — which kick off with “Tónika” featuring Ziggy Marley, son of Bob Marley — Maluma, who turned 27 on Thursday, takes listeners into a journey through the Caribbean country.

Taking to Instagram Live minutes before the album-film’s release, Maluma addressed a viral Instagram post where he posed with someone’s belly making fans believe he was expecting a baby. Turns out, it’s actually his new album!

“Yes, I’m going to be a dad! And the baby is born in 30 minutes,” he said with a laugh. “It’s my sixth child… For the people who thought I was going to be a dad. This is my new baby, 7 Días En Jamaica,” he said in Spanish on Instagram Live ahead of the album’s release. “This is a project that I’ve been working on for a long time.”

“When I was in Jamaica, I had the opportunity to be there with producers and composers for an album that was set to release before Papi Juancho,” he added. “We had it ready, but because of COVID we couldn’t make the videos so we released Papi Juancho first, but we had all the music ready.”

The stunning film follows Maluma as he explores different aspects of Jamaican culture and gets together with a gorgeous love interest he met on the island. He also plays soccer with some children on a dirt field during “Desayun-Arte.”
