Martinez was most recently a series regular on ABC’s Stumptown.
His other television credits include heavy recurring roles on CBS All Access’ No Activityand NBC’s The Blacklist: Redemption.
In film, Martinez will soon be seen in Disney+’s Lady and the Tramp, in Jamie Babbit’s The Stand-Inopposite Drew Barrymore, and in Jordan Galland’s Leave Not One Aliveopposite Bella Thorne.
He’s also had a major leading role in the feature film Focusstarring Will Smith and Margot Robbie.
Martinez continues to be repped by Vault Entertainment and Sarna & Associates.
Ramos will serve a presenter during Sunday’s award show, which will be hosted by Keke Palmer. Other presenters include Nicole Richie, Drew Barrymore and Kelly Clarkson.
There will be several “first” moments during this year’s MTV VMAs, besides the fact that it’s being held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
BTS will make their first television performance of their English-language single “Dynamite,” while Lady Gaga and Ariana Grandewill perform “Rain On Me” on stage for the first time on television since releasing their No. 1 hit. The two pop stars lead this year’s nominations with nine each. Malumaand CNCO are also confirmed to perform.
Taboo and his fellow Black Eyed Peas members, who performed “Where Is the Love?” on the VMAs pre-show 17 years ago, are making their way to the main stage for their first time ever to perform “Vida Loca,” from their eighth studio album Translation, for the first time.
But previously announced acts J Balvin and Roddy Ricchwill no longer appear at the socially distanced ceremony.

The 40-year-old half-Cuban American actress has joined the all-star roster of musicians, actors, athletes and influencers gathering for a special #GivingTuesdayNowevent today (May 5) to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The “Take 5 Together #forStJude” livestream will take place from 2:00 – 6:00 pm EST and feature singing, dancing, cooking, stretching and laughter in honor of the hospitalthat is the leader in treating childhood cancer.
In addition to Garcia Swisher, the event lineup includes Michael Strahan, Drew Barrymore, Ashley Tisdale, Kaia Gerber,Rio Roma, Shaed, Sofi Tukker, Nick Swisher, Scotty McCreery, Chef Adrianne Calvoand more.
All will “take 5” with St. Jude patients in an effort to “delight and inspire viewers,” according to a statement announcing the event.
St. Jude has also partnered with school spirit company Varsity Brandsfor a TikTokdance challenge to engage supporters willing to show off their best moves #forStJude.

The 48-year-old Puerto Rican superstar has been tapped as the new face of Guess.
Lopez, one of the busiest women in Hollywood, has previously made her mark in the fashion world by collaborating with brands like Giuseppe Zanotti.
J.Lo., currently enjoying the success of her All I Have residency in Las Vegas, will team with brand co-founder Paul Marciano, and will star in the brand’s upcoming Spring 2018 marketing campaign.
“When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager,” she said in a statement. The update begins shooting this week in the Dominican Republic with Mauricio T Valle adapting, directing and producing via his Le Petit Soldat Cinema.
