Fox Renews Aaron Sanchez’s “MasterChef” for 14th Season

Fox has renewed its long-running competition series MasterChef, featuring the 47-year-old Mexican-American award-winning celebrity chef, restaurateur, television personality, cookbook author and philanthropist, for Season 14.

Gordon Ramsay will return as host alongside co-hosts and judges Sánchez and restaurateur Joe Bastianich on the show, which is based on the BBC format.

The series’ 13th season is known as MasterChef: United Tastes of America and sees the trip judge a cook off from home cooks from four parts of the U.S.

Judges have included Daphne Oz, Graham Elliot, Susan Feniger, Tiffany Derry, Andre Rush and Kelsey Murphy.

MasterChef is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam.

HBO Max Releases Trailer for Fourth Season of Selena Gomez’s “Selena + Chef” Series

HBO Max has released the trailer for the fourth season of the 30-year-old Mexican American actress/singer’s hit cooking series Selena + Chef, which will premiere on August 18.

Selena Gomez, Selena + ChefIn the new trailer released, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer heads to the beach with her friends and family for some summer fun. Gomez learns some fresh new recipes in a beautiful Malibu beach house throughout the season.

As in the first three seasons, each chef will highlight a different charity. ‘

To date, the series has raised $400,000 for 26 nonprofit organizations.

Adrienne Cheatham, Devonn Francis, Gordon Ramsay, Kristen Kish, Ludo Lefebvre, , Nick Matty Matheson DiGiovanni, Paola Velez, Priya Krishna and Rachael Ray are all set as the guest chefs this season, with Ramsey surprising Gomez in person at the end of the new trailer.

“On a scale of one to 10, how good are we? Seven? Eight?” Ramsey asks Gomez, who reluctantly replies, “Five.”

“We’re f—ked,” Ramsey jokingly responds.

Watch the first three episodes of season four of Selena + Chef exclusively on HBO Max starting on August 18.

The next three episodes will premiere August 25, and the final four on September 1.

Dorough and the Backstreet Boys join a lineup that includes LL Cool JDJ Z-Trip, the Chainsmokers, the Lumineers, Florida Georgia LineTygaand The Killers, along with celebrity appearances by Gordon RamsayWill Arnettand Jenna Dewan.

Maria Menounos and NFL ex-player Rob Gronkowskiwill co-host the evening, which will feature a performance by Angel Moralesand his fellow Village Peoplemembers as the group tries to set a world record for the largest YMCAdance.

The evening also will feature a WWE match with Roman Reigns.

The Fox party starts at 8:00 pm live from Manhattan, with a tape-delayed edition for the Mountain and Pacific time zones.

The “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” appears alongside Gordon Ramsay, Rebel Wilson and Anthony Hopkins in the commercial for Amazon’s intelligent personal assistant Alexa.

In Amazon’s Super Bowl ad, Alexa loses her voice and causes mass chaos in the Amazon office. As a solution, the team finds a group of celebrities to replace her, including Cardi B.

In one of Cardi B’s segments, a boy asks Alexa how far Mars is. Her hilarious response: She laughs, and says, “Well how am I supposed to know? I’ve never been there. This guy wants to go to Mars; for what?!” After giggling, she says, “There’s not even oxygen there!”

In her second appearance, a man asks Alexa to play country music. Instead of listening to him and playing a country tune, Cardi B starts blasts her No. 1 single. After he corrects her, she stops the music — and then continues again with the same song.

Hailed as one of the best Super Bowl ads of the night, the commercial has been viewed more than 26 million times on YouTube as of Monday morning.

Brewster to Compete on the Next Installment of “Masterchef Celebrity Showdown”

The lineup for the next installment of Masterchef Celebrity Showdown has been announced, with the 36-year-old Brazilian-Panamanian actress among those joining the two-hour charity event set to air January 2 at 8:00 pm on Fox.

Brewster, one of the stars of the The Fast and the Furious film franchise, joins a roster that includes Kal Penn, Anthony Anderson and former NFL stars Ronde Barber and Tiki Barber.

The special will also feature the first ever battle royale between Masterchef judges Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi, with Ramsay teaming up with Anderson to face off against Tosi and Brewster.
