In addition Vergara, the photo shows AGT creator and judge Simon Cowell, longtime judge Howie Mandel, returning panelist Heidi Klum and returning host Terry Crews.

The revamped panel comes after the NBC competition series filled its two vacant chairs last week, following the exits of Gabrielle Unionand Julianne Hough, who were let go in November after one season.

This will be Modern Family star’s first turn as a judge. Klum was a panelist on AGTfrom 2013-2018.

The first round of production for America’s Got Talent: Season 15 will take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium throughout the month of March.

Armisen to Star in the HBO Original Comedy Film “7 Days in Hell”

Fred Armisen has landed a Hell of a role…

The 47-year-old half-Venezuelan actor and former Saturday Night Live star has landed a role in HBO’s original comedy movie 7 Days in Hell, starring Armisen’s former SNL cast mate Andy Samberg and Game of ThronesKit Harington.

Fred Armisen

Based on an original concept by Murray Miller, who wrote the screenplay, and Samberg, the sports mockumentary centers on two fierce tennis rivals in an epic, seven-day match at 2004 Wimbledon.

The location is hardly random — the longest tennis match on record was held on Court 18 at Wimbledon during the 2010 championships when John Isner and Nicolas Mahut battled it out for 11 hours over three days, with the American ultimately clinching a victory, 70-68 in the fifth set.

In addition to Samberg, Harington and Armisen, the all-star cast includes Lena Dunham, Will Forte, Karen Gillan, Howie Mandel, Michael Sheen, Mary Steenburgen and June Squibb. Additionally, broadcast journalist

Soledad O’Brien will appear in the HBO movie as herself.

Based on breakdowns reported by Deadline.com, Samberg’s character, named Aaron Williams, is tennis’ superstar bad boy, while Harington’s character, named Charles Poole, is channeling Andy Murray, a tennis prodigy and certified truck driver.

Adding to their rivalry is Gillan’s supermodel Lily, Charles’ childhood friend who made a sex tape with Aaron. Steenburgen plays Charles’ psychotic and controlling mother, while Forte plays a tennis historian.

Jake Szymanski is set to direct the film.

Castillo Advances to “America’s Got Talent” Finals

Joe Castillo is prepared to sand and deliver as he moves one step closer to the America’s Got Talent title and one-million dollar prize.

Following the first round of season 7 semifinals, the Mexican-native sand story artist has moved forward to the finals of NBC’s reality talent competition.  Castillo was one of three acts from the first semifinal round, which featured 12 acts, to advance.

Joe Castillo

Earth harpist William Close and stand-up comedian Tom Cotter advanced to the finals based on viewers’ vote, leaving the judges to choose between Castillo and dog ventriloquist/comedian  Todd Oliver.

Howard Stern cast his vote for Oliver, while Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel picked Castillo, sending the sand story artist to the final round.

Joe Castillo

Castillo has made an impression on the judges and America with his unique way of storytelling that features sand, a light table and music as a medium.

One of a handful of sand story artists in the world, Joe has performed hundreds of sand stories for eight years in more than 18 countries around the globe.

Next week, 12 other acts will perform in a bid to get viewers’ support to nab the last three positions in the finals. The winner receives $1 million and a headline show in Las Vegas.
