Bizarrap Teams Up with Milo J to Release New EP That Includes “BZRP Music Session #57”

Bizarrap is back with a new collaboration and a new EP…

The 25-year-old Argentine DJ and record producer has teamed up with Milo J to release his latest collaboration “BZRP Music Session #57.”

Bizarrap & MIlo JIn addition, Bizarrap shared a five-song EP en dormir sin Madrid, featuring one of Argentina’s most exciting artists to watch.

Before releasing the new collaboration, Bizarrap went on Instagram Live to share his thoughts about Milo J. He said he wanted to clarify that the music session arose because of his great connection with the 16-year-old Argentinean rapper in the studio. He says he’s the youngest artist who’s done a music session with him. Biza also says he was mind-blown over the quality of Milo’s talent to create music.

As a result, instead of releasing one music session, Bizarrap shared a total of five tracks that he recorded over three months with Milo J. The final product: en dormir sin Madrid, an EP that also includes: “Toy en el Mic,” “No soy Eterno,” “Fruto,” and “Penas de Antaño.”

BZRP Music Session #57” features a synth-heavy beat with Milo J’s baritone vocals. The music session is warmly hued, different from Biza’s signature blue-hued sessions. The beat changes to a trap-influenced beat carried throughout the session’s first part.

In the second song, named “Toy en el Mic,” Milo J echoes Peso Pluma’s music session. The track highlights a flamenco-influenced meshed-in trap melody that captures more of Milo’s vocal versatility.

The third single, titled “No soy Eterno,” features a deep, pulsating melody with Milo J singing about heartbreak. The video shows the emerging rapper in a deserted landscape. Other clips show fireworks in the background as he raps about a breakup.

The fourth song, “Fruto,” features a piano-driven intro with a bass-heavy beat categorized by its bouncing BPM switch-ups. Moreover, the intro samples the iconic “El Día De Mi Suerte” by Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe.

The final track, “Penas de Antaño,” closes with a sentimental feature by Milo. This time, he talks about his personal emotions while the visuals show candid clips of his musical journey. Overall, the five-part BZRP music session – and new joint EP – captures five different faces of a young, versatile artist who appears ready to take the spotlight.

Milo J, born Camilo Joaquín Villarruel, began his career only two years ago. However, it appears that he’s quickly becoming one of the most exciting artists to watch.

Camila Cabello & Camilo Release Music Video for Their Bachata Track “Ambulancia”

Camila Cabello is calling an ambulance…

The 25-year-old Cuban & Mexican singer/songwriter has teamed up with Camilo to release the official music video for their first collaborative effort “Ambulancia.”

Camilo & Camila CabelloDirected by Camilo’s wife and singer/actress Evaluna Montaner, the VHS-inspired clip finds Camilo and Cabello riding on top of an ambulance, where they are sitting on a mattress filled with sunflowers.

In the background, a green screen shows trippy visuals such as the starry galaxy, a busy highway and crashing ocean waves, to name a few.

The clip comes more than four months after the single dropped September 6, part of Camilo’s De Adentro Pa Afuera album, which debuted at No. 8 on the Latin Pop Albums chart dated September 17.

“I love the song so much,” Cabello told Camilo during an Instagram Live chat Tuesday afternoon. “I’ve always wanted to do a song with you. Being on set with you, Evaluna, and Indi (the couple’s baby), and then performing it live together in Los Angeles, for me, was a dream come true.”

The Colombian artist agreed: “I wanted to thank you for opening the door of your heart to do music together and also your fans for allowing me to be a part of their playlist.”

“Ambulancia” is a flirty slow-tempo bachata track that narrates the story of a connection that cannot be explained, the one that is pure magic and magnetic.

Moreover, it perfectly combines Camilo’s melodic vocals with Camila’s raspy voice. “I had turned off my heart, but when he saw you alone, he decided to turn back on,” she sings in a verse.

Ozuna Teams Up with Tokischa to Release Equality Single “Somos Iguales”

Ozuna is celebrating equality with a special guest…

The 30year-old Puerto Rican singer and rapper has joined voices with Tokischa to release the new single for “Somos Iguales,” as well as the track’s music video.

Ozuna & Tokischa Ozuna and Tokischa met for the first time last year at an afterparty in the Dominican Republic and “we instantly clicked,” the urban artist said during an Instagram Live interview with Billboard Latin.

That great chemistry is now cemented on the new single, which features party-starting rhythms while sending a message of equality and inclusion.

“On the dance floor anything goes; here we are all the same,” says part of the lyric.

“I wanted to generalize that we are all the same,” Ozuna notes. “Things are not as complicated as before. There are many open-minded people nowadays.”

“Somos Iguales,” produced by DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, Jowny and Hydro, is a and reggaeton dembow fusion that Ozuna has been working on for two years, even before he met Tokischa. He explains he was challenged with the song’s concept but immediately connected with the track when Tokischa sent her verse.

“Her project is fresh and something totally new for the music industry,” he explains.

“In person, she’s very smart, respectful, chill and creative.”

The track also samples the 1993 reggae dancehallRich Girl” by British duo Louchie Lou and Michie One. “This song is so special for me because it samples a very iconic track that forms part of our childhood,” Tokischa says.

The music video, helmed by Venezuelan director Nuno Gomes, brings the lyrics to life, showing the two artists breaking into a room where a meeting with leaders of different nations is held. In the end, the leaders, law enforcement and artists all end up dancing to the same rhythm.

Currently, each artist is ready to kick off their individual tours. Ozuna’s trek starts September 30 in New York, and Toki plans to visit fans in Mexico and return to the U.S. after her successful debut Popola Tour.

“It felt nice,” she expresses of touring outside of her country for the first time. “I missed my house, my family and food, but I loved connecting with so many people, especially the Dominican who’s chasing a dream in another country. It was a beautiful experience.”

DaniLeigh Releases New Single “Dead to Me” While Moving Past DaBaby Drama

It’s life after dead to DaniLeigh

The 27-year-old Dominican American singer, who is attempting to move on from her turbulent relationship with ex-boyfriend DaBaby, has released the new single “Dead to Me” as she focuses on her music career.

DaniLeigh“You know you dead to me/ Never kept your word with what you said to me / You know you dead to me/ I ain’t got no more time for toxic energy,” she sings in the chorus.

In a moving new interview with iHeartRadio’s Angie Martinez that premiered on People, DaniLeigh — born Danielle Leigh Curiel — opened up about motherhood, DaBaby and “Dead to Me.” Most notably, she reflected on the Instagram Live she had with the “Rockstar” rapper in November, which she described as a “very bad time” in her life.

In the since-deleted video, the former couple were seen having a heated argument while DaniLeigh nursed their newborn daughter, who is now eight months old.

According to Rolling Stone, DaBaby and DaniLeigh exchanged insults, with the latter claiming that the rapper hadn’t been around since their daughter was born, and that he was now trying to make her leave his apartment.

The next day, DaBaby went on Instagram Live again, where the duo continued to argue about their relationship. According to Rolling Stone and local CBS affiliate WBTV, the rapper told law enforcement on both days that Curiel had assaulted him; she was charged with simple assault.

“It was very triggering, very sad,” the 27-year-old star told Martinez of the situation. “I wish it didn’t happen because I don’t want my baby to see that later on in life.”

The “Easy” singer says the way she’ll explain the video to her child “depends on the type of person she grows up to be.”

“The only responsibility I have is to raise her to be a strong woman. She’ll feel how she feels, she’s her own person,” Curiel explained. DaniLeigh also shared that it was “very selfish” to get into that fight, and that DaBaby has not apologized. “He’s like that though,” she said of her ex-boyfriend.

“I’ve learned to love myself so much more,” she said of her mindset since the end of the relationship. “Because I feel like I really did love him so much that I was just giving it all to him … I didn’t even focus on my career.”

“Dead to Me” is set to appear on her upcoming EP, My Side, which doesn’t have a release date yet.

Selena Gomez Launches “Your Words Matter” Campaign in Partnership with Rare Beauty & Mental Health First Aid

Selena Gomez has a few words to share…

This Mental Health Awareness Month, the 29-year-old Mexican American actress/singer has launched a new campaign about the importance of language.

Selena GomezGomez, who has been an outspoken mental health advocate, took to social media on Sunday to announce the launch of a new campaign called Your Words Matter.

The initiative — which aims to “educate on the power of your words when talking about mental health,” according to a statement — is a partnership between Gomez’s makeup company Rare Beauty and Mental Health First Aid.

“Your words matter,” Gomez wrote to her 317 million followers on Instagram. “Join @RareBeauty for Mental Health Awareness Month as we share resources and bring awareness to the power of your words all month long on IG and RareBeauty.com/RareImpact. Together we can break the stigma.”

The Only Murders in the Building star’s post also included a screenshot of a powerful message she wrote on the Notes app of her phone.

“Words can be a barrier to people seeking help and increase the stigma associated with mental health. Many of these words have been normalized and accepted for far too long, but it’s time we bring awareness to the words we use… because they matter,” she wrote.

“Even in my own TikTok video, I now realize that my words matter and can have a powerful impact. Just like all of you, I’m learning every day. We may slip up, and that’s okay, what’s important is that we try to do better and give ourselves compassion.”

Rare Beauty offered some tips on Instagram about changing language to focus on the person and not their mental health. For example, instead of referring to someone as “a bipolar person,” one could say, “a person who has bipolar disorder.” Or changing “someone who committed suicide” to “a person who died by suicide.”

For last year’s Mental Health Awareness Month, Gomez and Rare Beauty launched the Mental Health 101 campaign, which is “dedicated to supporting mental health education and encouraging financial support for more mental health services in educational services,” she wrote on Instagram.

Gomez, who’s recently turned her sights on founding a mental wellness website called Wondermind, first opened up about her bipolar diagnosis on her Bright Minded Instagram Live series in April 2020.

In September 2019, she won the 2019 McClean Award for her mental health advocacy and detailed her struggles with anxiety and depression during her acceptance speech.

CNCO Band Members to Make Acting Debut on Disney’s Original Fiction Miniseries “4 Ever”

The men of CNCO are ready to role

Christopher Vélez, Richard Camacho, Zabdiel De Jesús and Erick Brian Colón, who make up the popular Latin boy band, are preparing to make their acting debut on Disney’s upcoming original fiction miniseries titled 4 Ever.

CNCOThe five-episodes miniseries, which is being produced by Tolmur and Bourke and directed by Nuno Gomes, will follow the story of four musicians — Andy (Vélez), Ian (Camacho), Ciro (De Jesús) and Darío (Colon) — who are on their way to becoming a popular band in Miami’s music scene.

4 Ever will include three original songs performed by CNCO and three covers of well-known ballads.

According to an official description of the series’ synopsis, “The young musicians meet by chance at a restaurant, where they get involved in an unexpected situation: a valuable guitar has just disappeared. To recover the guitar and return it to its owner the boys must put together a band. Their mission, however, is not as simple as it seems, as they are quite different. However, their passion for music becomes their common language and brings them together despite their differences as they embark on a journey that involves the promise of success – and also failed opportunities.”

4 Ever is currently under production, filming in different locations throughout Miami. It’s slated to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in Latin America later this year.

In January, CNCO released their first single of the year, “PHA (Party, Humo y Alcohol),” which followed “Toa’ La Noche,” their debut single as a quartet.

“We wanted to start off the year doing something different and this song was the correct one for this new era that we’re entering,” CNCO previously told Billboard during an Instagram Live interview.

“PHA,” produced by HV and Kairo La Sinfonia and written alongside the band, is an infectious pop song full of ’80s retro vibes. Besides the new series, the group is also working on new music and collaborations, with a handful of concerts scheduled in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
