It’s official… Banda and ranchera diva Jenni Rivera is la gran señora of mun2

The 42-year-old Mexican-American singer/songwriter has signed a long-term, cross-platform deal with the bilingual cable network that includes the return of the Rivera’s highly popular reality series, I Love Jenni—one of the network’s most watched shows.

“mun2 has become a second home to me,” says the Long Beach, California-raised singer who recently took home an award at Billboard’s Mexican Music Awards. “I’m glad to continue and grow our relationship and show mi vida loca—my life, my vision and feelings to my fans. I have built my career on honesty, reality and creating the most vibrant, impactful career for my fans and my family. I look forward to continuing to share this with the viewers.”

Rivera’s lucrative deal includes an untitled new project for Rivera’s daughter Chiquis, who previously starred in the network’s top-rated original series Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C.

“Jenni is an icon,” declares mun2’s general manager Diana Mogollon of  the award-winning artist who has sold more than 22 million albums worldwide. “She is one of the most respected and acclaimed Latinas in music and entertainment, and is an integral part of the mun2 family.
