The 22-year-old half-Mexican actor and star of MTV’s Teen Wolf has been named as the host of this year’s Teen Choice Awards by Fox.

Posey is familiar with the Teen Choice Awards. In 2012, he took home one of the award show’s trademark surfboards in the Choice Male Summer TV Star category, while Teen Wolf won Choice Summer TV Show.

Last year, the series received a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Show, and Posey received the award for Choice Male Summer TV Star, as well as an ALMA Award for Favorite TV Actor.

Most recently, he was named one of Variety‘s Power of Youth honorees. He received the award earlier this year in recognition of the work he has done with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Last year, Posey appeared on the big screen in Scary Movie 5. He also starred in the indie film White Frog and in the upcoming feature comedy Taco Shop, scheduled for release in 2015.

Previously announced stars scheduled to appear are Jake T. Austin, Bella Thorne, Lucy Hale, Jamie Blackley, Ian Harding, Kellan Lutz, Cody Simpson, Hailee Steinfeld, Gregg Sulkin and Zendaya.

The annual event will air live on Sunday, August 10 at 8:00 pm ET.

Voting for this year’s awards is currently open, and fans ages 13 to 19 can vote once each day per category at teenchoiceawards.com through Saturday, Aug. 9.

Millennium Films has released the first full-length trailer for the threequel to Expendables, featuring the 53-year-old Spanish actor in a new role.

Expendables 3 reunites the key cast members including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren, while adding new stars like Banderas, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Kelsey Grammer, and Kellan Lutz.

In the highly anticipated action flick, director Patrick Hughes plants the band of brothers on a quest for revenge after one of their men is murdered during what should’ve been an easy mission. But deep in enemy territory, they face an unexpected threat.

Expendables 3 begins its international rollout on August 13, and Lionsgate will release the PG-13 film in the United States on August 15.

Banderas & His “Expendables 3” Castmates to Storm the Cannes Film Festival

It appears Antonio Banderas will be expendable at this year’s Cannes Film Festival…

The 53-year-old and his Expendables 3 castmates will make an appearance on Sunday, May 18.

It’s being heralded as “one of the greatest assemblages of international star power — and muscle— that Cannes has ever seen” by Deadline.com, with 13 members of the cast participating in a complete day of events.

In addition to Banderas, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammer, Randy Couture, Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell will take part in the day’s program, alongside director Patrick Hughes.

Millennium Films officials say the day will start with a screening of footage from the movie, followed by Banderas and the gang arriving at the Carlton Hotel for a press conference and photo call.

The actors will reportedly arrive in armored vehicles, with banners representing each of the characters adorning the façade of the hotel.

Later that evening, there will be a big soirée at the Palm Beach nightclub.

Expendables 3 will begin rolling out across the globe on August 13.

No word yet on Banderas’ role in the Sylvester Stallone-starrer.

But Stallone is already looking forward to sharing the screen with Banderas once again; the two co-starred in 1995’s Assassins.

“He is a consummate actor and a gentleman,” Stallone said of Banderas in a statement to HuffPost Entertainment.

Along with Banderas, the cast includes Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Kellan Lutz and Victor Ortiz.

Rumored additional cast members are Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich.

Expect confirmations on the rumored cast members soon.

The Expendables 3, to be directed by Patrick Hughes, is scheduled to arrive in theaters on August 15, 2014.

Saldaña Commemorates World AIDS Day with Special Video

This World AIDS Day, Zoë Saldaña is asking her fans to take part in the war against AIDS…

The 34-year-old half-Puerto Rican & half-Dominican American actress was among the artists/celebrities around the world who recorded videos with a plea for fans to do their part to combat AIDS.

The videos were released earlier this week by ONE, a global-anti-poverty organization co-founded by U2‘s frontman Bono, to commemorate World AIDS Day on December 1.

In her homemade video, Saldaña says, “It is very important that we unite and try to make a difference… whether through education or action.”

She goes on to add, “It is imperative that us as a human race come together to aid those in need and those family and children and women and men who are being affected today by this disease.”

Among other artists, who recorded similar videos, were Kellan Lutz, Anne Vyalitsyna and DJ Tiesto.

The campaign is open to all people around the world. They are free to share their personal opinions of what inspire them to join the fight through videos. Viewers are also given chances to sign a petition to support the life-saving programs to fight against AIDS.

Belle in Final Talks to Star in “Love Is All You Need?”

The independent film is set in a world where homosexuality is the norm and follows several storylines.

Belle, has previously starred in 10,000 BC and From Prada to Nada, will portray a star football quarterback adored by a large fan base while Lutz, whose deal is closed, would play an aspiring journalist. The two fall in love, with their relationship growing in secret, but when the romance becomes public, the two find themselves being bullied.

The feature is based on a short by Kim Rocco Shields. Shields co-wrote the feature script with David Tillman and is directing.

Belle currently stars opposite Andy Garcia in the indie drama Open Road, which premiered at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival.
