Created by Bernal and produced by Globomedia and Mediaset, Los Serrano premiered on Telecinco in 2003 and ran for five years and 147 episodes.

Echoing The Brady Bunch, it is about a widower with three sons who reconnects and marries his high school sweetheart, a divorced mother of two girls.

The series, which already has been adapted in nine other countries, chronicles the exploits of the blended family, with its seven members adjusting to living under the same roof.
