Marko Zaror In Talks to Star in Keanu Reeves’ “John Wick 4”

Marko Zaror is thisclose to locking down his next project…

The 43-year-old Chilean martial artist and actor is in talks to join the ensemble cast of Lionsgate’s John Wick 4, starring Keanu Reeves.

Donnie Yen, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Lance Reddick and Shamier Anderson are also on board to appear in the film.

Chad Stahelski returns as director.

The film is set for theatrical release on May 27, 2022. Shay Hatten and Michael Finch wrote the screenplay.

Zaror will play one of Wick’s main pursuers in the film.

Best known as one of the stars of Dusk Till DawnThe Series, Zaror has also appeared in Invincible, Machete Kills and The Rundown.

de la Reguera to Star in El Rey Network’s “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series”

It’s a new Dawn for Ana de la Reguera

The 39-year-old Mexican actress has joined the cast of El Rey Network’s From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series.

de la Reguera will be joined by Chilean martial artist, actor and stuntman Marko Zaror for the show’s upcoming third season.

A reimagining of Robert Rodriguez’s 1996 movie, which Miramax released at the time, the television show expands on the supernatural crime saga revolving around brothers Seth and Richie Gecko.

Season 3 will continue their saga as they fight the culebra underworld.

de la Reguera will recur as Lord Venganza Verdugo, one of the seven remaining culebra lords whose ancient roots and personal history put them at the center of an epic clash between good and evil.

Zaror is Zolo, an Aztec warrior trained in hell.

Additionally, Emily Rios will reprise her Season 2 role as Ximena, the no-nonsense lieutenant of Lord Venganza.

They join the returning ensemble cast that includes D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González, Jesse Garcia, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo and Jake Busey.

Zaror Starring in the Spanish-Language Action Film “Redeemer”

The 35-year-old Chilean martial artist, actor, and stuntman is starring in XYZ Film’s Spanish-language action film Redeemer, which is now filming in Chile.

In his fourth project with director Ernesto Díaz Espinoza, Zaror stars as an ex-hitman who’s made a deal with God to hunt down the men he used to work for.

Zaror’s roles in Espinoza’s Kiltro and Mirageman as well as 2010′s Undisputed III: Redemption helped put him on the map in the contemporary action game as one of a new generation of international action stars building global followings through genre films.

Zaror, a martial artist trained in multiple disciplines, recently starred as Mel Gibson’s henchman in Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills.

The 45-year-old Mexican American filmmaker’s sequel to the cult classic Machete, starring Danny Trejo, will debut in his hometown of Austin, Texas at the annual genre-packed Fantastic Fest.

In the film, Trejo returns as the title character – an ex-Federale turned vigilante – who is recruited by the President (Charlie Sheen – billed as Carlos Estevez) to stop an eccentric billionaire (Mel Gibson) from launching a missile into space.

Rodriguez has again assembled a B-movie dream team of name actors and unorthodox stars for his gory action-packed film, including Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demian Bichir, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler and Marko Zaror.

Machete Kills will have its world premiere September 19 at the new Lakeline location of the Alamo Drafthouse theaters, home to the annual horror, action, sci-fi, fantasy, and foreign film festival.

Two weeks later Open Road Films will release Machete Kills nationwide on October 4.

This year’s Fantastic Fest runs from September 19-26, 2013.
