Miguel Pinzon Lands Recurring Role on Season Five of Freeform’s “Good Trouble”

Miguel Pinzon is getting into some (good) trouble

The Latino actor has joined Season 5 of Freeform’s Good Trouble in a recurring role.

Miguel PinzonPinzon will play Ethan, a former friend of Davia’s (Emma Hunton) from her days in New York who is in L.A. workshopping a musical he wrote.

His first appearance will be in Episode 3, which airs on March 30.

Good Trouble follows the residents of downtown Los Angeles’ The Coterie as they juggle career, love and friendship and learn that standing up for what you believe in requires making a little noise and getting into trouble.

The series stars Cierra Ramirez, Zuri Adele, Sherry Cola, Tommy Martinez, Hunton, Josh Pence, Beau Mirchoff, Bryan Craig and Priscilla Quintana. Maia Mitchell left at the end of Season 3.

Pinzon previously had a recurring role in the second season of Hulu’s WokeHis other recent credits include guest starring on 9-1-1: Lone Star, recurring on YouTube Red’s Swipe Right, Freeform’s Mystery Girls and the Melissa McCarthy/Ben Falcone pilot Amy’s Brother.

Good Trouble airs Thursdays at 10:00 pm on Freeform and next day on Hulu.

Miguel Pinzon to Appear on Second Season of Hulu’s Comedy Series “Woke”

The Latino actor has landed a recurring role on the second season of Hulu’s comedy series Woke.

Co-created by Keith Knight and Marshall ToddWoke centers on Keef Knight (Lamorne Morris), an African-American cartoonist who finds himself on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changes his life. With a newfound consciousness, Keef must navigate the new voices and ideas challenging him, all without setting fire to everything he’s already built.

Pinzon will play Tommy, a blunt and inscrutable un-housed artist with a sharp wit who challenges Keef and his view of activism.

Pinzon to Star in Fox’s Comedy Pilot “Amy’s Brother”

Miguel Pinzon is ready to assist…

The Latino actor has been cast as a series regular in Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot Amy’s Brother.

Pinzon, who most recently starred in Mystery Girls, will star opposite Ursula Parker and Annie Mumolo in the comedy project, which is being produced by the husband-and-wife duo of Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone and Warner Bros Television.

Written and co-executive produced by Jim Cashman and Mitch Silpa, and directed by Beth McCarthy Miller, Amy’s Brother is about an unconventional family that is formed when a successful type-A man, Matthew, and his estranged sister, Amy (Mumolo), and her two children find themselves not only back in one another’s lives but also living under one roof.

Pinzon will portray Josh, Amy’s brother Matthew’s extremely devoted assistant at the real estate office.

Pinzon was nominated for Choice TV Breakout Star: Male at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards for starring as Nick opposite Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth on ABC Family’s Mystery Girls sitcom.

He also guest-starred on Young & Hungry, 30 Rock and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
