“Selena and M·A·C Cosmetics are back together! Get ready for an all NEW collection launching in April to celebrate the Queen of Tejano’s life and legacy! Stay tuned for this iconic collection,” expressed a post on Selena’s official Facebook account.

This is the second time the brand is honoring the late Mexican-American singer through beauty products.

In 2016, fans were blessed with a makeup collection that embodied Selena’s style, including her signature red lipstick and an eye shadow palette named after some of her emblematic songs, like “Como La Flor,” “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” and “No Me Queda Mas.”

The limited-edition collection released in 2016 was tenderly curated by Selena’s sister Suzette Quintanilla. “I wanted the colors to be about her personally, what she wore on and offstage,” Quintanilla said in a previous press statement.

The new MAC collaboration comes on the heels of a Selena tribute concert taking place on May 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Presented by Q ProductionsSelena XXV-Veinticinco Años counts with a star-studded lineup including Pitbull, Los Tucanes de TijuanaA.B. Prince Royce Pays Tribute to Selena Quintanilla at RodeoHouston

The 29-year-old Dominican American bachata singer, the first-ever tropical artist to perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo concert, honored Selena Quintanilla through song Tuesday night at NRG Stadium.

Prince Royce performed Selena’s “No Me Queda Más,” a tribute made even more meaningful, as it marked the 24th anniversary of Selena’s performance at the Houston Rodeo, the last concert of her life (February 26, 1995).

In addition to his Selena tribute, Prince Royce’s performance included the songs “Darte Un Beso,” “Stand By Me,” “Corazón Sin Cara,” “La Carretera,” “Soy El Mismo,” “Back It Up,” “Adicto,” “El Clavo” and “Bubalú,” taking his fans from danceable bachata to the most popular urban sounds in both English and Spanish.

Royce was also accompanied by an eight-piece live band.

RodeoHouston began in January of 1931 and the first show was held in April of 1932. It is considered to be the city’s signature event.

Lopez Pays Tribute to Selena at Recent Concert Stop

She may be the world’s most powerful celebrity… But Jennifer Lopez hasn’t forgotten about the role that launched her massive career.

Jennifer Lopez

During a recent concert stop in Dallas on her successful world tour, the 43-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress paid special tribute to the late Selena—the woman she portrayed in her breakthrough film back in 1997—by performing the singer’s emotionally charged “No Me Queda Mas.”

Dressed in an oh-so-sheer red dress, Lopez told the audience that she was grateful to have been chosen to play la Reina de la Musica Tejana before treating concertgoers to the song.

Lopez’s performance in the film, which received mostly positive reviews from critics, left a big impression on film critics like the Chicago Sun-TimesRoger Ebert. He gave Selena three-and-a-half stars out of four and wrote, “The teenage and adult Selena is played by Lopez in a star-making performance. After her strong work as the passionate lover of Jack Nicholson in the current Blood and Wine, here she creates a completely different performance, as a loyal Quintanilla who does most of her growing up on a tour bus with her dad at the wheel.”
