Cardi B Lands Three Songs on Michelle Obama’s 2020 Workout Playlist

Michelle Obama is hoping to inspire people to exercise more in the new year by sharing her 2020 workout playlist, and the 27-year-old half-Dominican American singer is her go-to gal.

The former first lady, a dedicated health advocate, shared some of her favorite tunes to listen to while hitting the gym. 

The 35-song playlist includes three tracks from Cardi B. Along with her single “Press,” Cardi B’s collaborations with Bruno Mars (“Finesse”) and Ed SheeranCamila Cabello(“South of the Border”) get Obama’s blood pumping.

Bruno Mars has a second song, “Perm,” on Obama’s playlist.

Jennifer Lopez gives Obama’s playlist a little old school magic with her “Feelin’ So Good Remix,” featuring Fat JoeBig Pun.

And when it comes to her post-workout cool down, Obama turns to Miguel and Alicia Keys’ “Show Me Love,” among others.

The 27-year-old half-Dominican American rap superstar is sharing a small snippet of new music as she readies her next album.

After being asked to “spill the tea” on her forthcoming single on Twitter earlier in the week, Cardi B tantalized fans with a quick three-second teaser of her Wheezy-produced track. 

Though Cardi B only utters “Don’t shake / Earthquake” on the snippet, it did more than enough to cause a frenzy on social media. 

“OMG SOUNDS LIKE A BOP… YOU’RE SUCH A TEASE,” tweeted one fan. “Can’t wait for your new album!!” 

Last year, Cardi dished out a bevy of singles, including “Press” and the Bruno Mars-assisted jam “Please Me,” with the latter vaulting its way into the top five on the BillboardHot 100.

In November, Cardi B unleashed a blistering minute-long freestyle on Instagram, which served as an appetizer for her highly-anticipated sophomore album. 

This month, Cardi B is up for best rap performance at this year’s Grammysfor Offset‘s thunderous record “Clout.” The record peaked at No. 39 on the Hot 100 last May.

The 26-year-old half-Dominican American rap sensation  teased fans about her sophomore album plans during an Instagram Live session Thursday morning.

“Everything that I’m working on right now is straight to my album. Straight to my album,” she said, while having her eyeliner done in the car. “And I think I’m gonna name my album Tiger Woods. I think I’ma name my album Tiger Woods ‘cause remember when everybody was talking shit on Tiger Woods and then he fucking came and won that green jacket? That’s what I’ma name my album.”

Cardi B is referring to the star golfer who won his first major tournament since 2008 earlier this year at the Masters, after extramarital affairs and a slew of knee and back injuries nearly derailed his entire career.

Cardi B Releases Lavish Video for Latest Single “Money”

The 26-year-old half-Dominican American rap superstar has released the highly anticipated lavish visual to her braggadocios track “Money.”

Bardi takes over a spacious bank with a team of women, where she opens up the vault and heads straight for the cash. 

The scene then moves to her old stomping grounds of the strip club, with Cardi B showing off some moves on the pole and dollars flying all around her. 

She even takes a breather to breastfeed baby Kulture in the midst of the acrobatics.

“Money,” her first post-Invasion of Privacysingle, was produced by J. White. It was released in late October. 

“Money” has maintained a firm position on the Billboard Hot 100, but is yet to crack the top 10; the solo track currently sits at No. 29 and that will almost certainly change with the help of a cinematic video to go alongside it. 

Meanwhile, Cardi B will reportedly be releasing a deluxe editionto her debut album on January 25 that will feature a new song, which she previewed early this week, titled “Press.”

The 26-year-old also became the first female artist to have every track on an album certified by the RIAA, the association announced Thursday (Dec. 20).

The 26-year-old half-Dominican American rap sensation is reportedly dropping a deluxe version of her chart-topping debut album Invasion of Privacywith two additional tracks.

According to HipHop-N-More, a pre-order page popped up on Amazon UK with a January 25 release date.

The deluxe edition includes the album’s original 13 tracks, plus the previously-released single “Money” and a new song titled “Press.”

“There are like five songs that I was supposed to put on Invasion of Privacy, but it just didn’t finish, it didn’t make sense,” Cardi B originally said of the re-release during an Instagram live back in August. “So I’m gonna put it on this project that I really wanna put it out on September 1st, but I’m missing like four, five songs.”
