MTV Renews Snooki’s “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” for Seventh Season

MTV has renewed the Jersey Shore Family Vacation, starring the 36-year-old Chilean reality television personality, for a seventh season.

The new season is slated to premiere in 2024.

The latter half of Season 6 has produced the franchise’s highest rating and best share in two years, up 2% and 1%, respectively, over the previous season.

When Season 6 returned to airwaves in August, it helped boost MTV’s Thursday primetime rating more than 300% over its previous weekly average to become the best season premiere for Jersey Shore Family Vacation in more than four years.

Audiences have been buzzing about the season online as well, according to Paramount Global. Throughout the season, Jersey Shore Family Vacation raked in more than 18M total engagements, which is up 128% season-over-season.

Season 6 isn’t quite over yet, as Jersey Shore Family Vacation – Reunion: Part Two is set to air Thursday on MTV.

In addition to Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, the cast also includes Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation is produced by SallyAnn Salsano and Frank Miccolis for 495 Productions. Jacquelyn French serves as Executive Producer for MTV.

MTV has dropped the official trailer for Season 4 of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, starring the 34-year-old part-Spanish American reality television star, and filmed entirely in a quarantine bubble.Jwoww

 

For the first time ever, cast and crew took over an entire resort where a bubble was created with series producer, SallyAnn Salsano’s 495 Productions, adhering to local, state and federal COVID-19 health and safety requirements.

In the return episode, the roommates come together in the aftermath of Angelina’s wedding and the speech heard around the world that left the family fractured. Now all together under one roof, the boys attempt to make the family whole again. DJ Pauly D, Mike “The Situation”, Vinny and Ronnie hatch a plan to reunite the girls, invite the extended family to distract them from the drama, and hope for the best.

Cast also includes Deena Nicole Cortese. Original Jersey Shore cast member Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi announced last December that she wouldn’t return for a fourth season of Family Vacation; the other stars are all back.

Season 4 of Jersey Shore Family Vacation premieres Thursday, November 19 at 8:00 pm ET/PT with back-to-back episodes.

MTV has renewed Jersey Shore Family Vacation, starring the 32-year-old Chilean reality television star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, for a fourth season.

The series follows seven housemates from the original Jersey Shore as they spend a month on vacation together, including Snooki, Jenni Farley aka JWoww, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Pauly D.

The announcement comes on the heels of the reality series’ highly rated Season 3 finale.

The June 18 season finale delivered a 1.11 adults 18-49 rating (Live + Same Day), the highest in almost two years, since 11/1/18. After three days of playback, the Season 3 finale’s viewership grew +56% to 1.7 million.

Ranking as the #1 cable series across all key demos in its time period, Season 3 of Jersey Shore Family Vacationwas up +9% from Season 2 among persons 18-34 (0.84 vs. 0.77 L+SD rating).

The Jersey Shore revival is MTV’s second highest-rated series in 18-34 behind The Challenge: Total Madness.

MTV has ordered a third season of its hit reality series Jersey Shore Family Vacation, starring the 31-year-old Chilean American reality television personality.

The renewal comes on the heels of MTV logging a fifth consecutive quarter of primetime growth in persons 18-34 and 18-49, its best streak in seven years.

Ranking as one of the top unscripted series on cable among adults 18-49, Jersey Shore Family Vacation features original housemates Deena Nicole CortesePaul “Pauly D” Delvecchio,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Snooki and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

It hails from from the original series’ creator/executive producer SallyAnn Salsano, who executive produces Jersey Shore Family Vacation through her 495 Productions.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation will premiere in 2019.

MTV is bringing back its hit series, Jersey Shore, for a new installment, featuring the 30-year-old Chilean reality television personality and most of the original cast.

The new series, entitled Jersey Shore Family Vacation, will premiere in 2018.

The project was teased throughout the day on social media and announced during the MTV series premiere of the Jersey Shore follow up series, Floribama Shore, which has a different cast.

In addition to Snooki, Jersey Shore Family Vacation will also star Jersey Shore original housemates Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio,” Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

Both Jersey Shore Vacation and Floribama Shore hail from Jersey Shore creator/executive producer SallyAnn Salsano and her 495 Productions, which is owned by FremantleMedia, via her overall deal with Viacom.

Jersey Shore Vacation is part of the strategy of the new MTV regime to revive some of the network’s popular unscripted franchises. In addition to Jersey Shore, recent reboots include My Super Sweet 16, which originally aired from 2005-2008, TRL, which ran from 1998-2008, and Unplugged, which first premiered in 1989.

The Shore franchise has extensions around the globe including Geordie Shore in the UK, Gandia Shore in Spain, Warsaw Shore in Poland and Acapulco Shore in Mexico.

Warner Bros. Officially Renews Bailon’s Daytime Talk Show “The Real”

Warner Bros. has officially announced that the 31-year-old Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian American’s daytime talk show The Real will return for a second season.

Hosted by Bailon, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Tamar Braxton, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai, the panel talk show already had been cleared in two-year deals on the majority of its stations, and it has done well in its freshman run, with the renewal fully expected.

The formal pickup comes as The Real just set a new series high of 1.54 million average viewers and equaled a series-high household rating (1.2) during the most recent week of available national ratings (week of January 26-February 1). The Real ranks as the No. 1 new syndicated talk show of the 2014-15 television season among women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.

Additionally, The Real, executive produced by SallyAnn Salsano, has done very well online and on social media. For the 2014-15 season, The Real YouTube page has delivered more than 65 million video views, ranking No. 3 among all syndicated talk shows for the year, behind only The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Wendy Williams Show. And in terms of Facebook “likes,” hosts Mowry-Housley (4.8 million) and Tamar Braxton (3 million) rank among the six most popular syndicated talk programs/hosts.
