The 28-year-old part-Mexican American singer/actress has joined voices with Marshmello at Los Angeles’ legendary Troubadour nightclub to perform their smash collaboration “OK Not To Be OK.”

Lovato and Marshmello performed the mental health-themed single as part of the Save Our Stages Fest, an initiative that’s raising money for independent music venues on the verge of closing due to the pandemic.

Marshmello and Lovato’s confidence-boosting ballad is currently at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs.

The Troubadour is just one of thousands of venues threatened with closure due to COVID-19. The West Hollywood nightclub is famous for incubating the Los Angeles music scene of the ’60s and ’70s, with acts including Linda Ronstadt, Jackson BrownEaglesElton JohnJoni Mitchell and more all playing the stage early in their careers.

Save Our Stages is aiming to raise $5 million to help fund the Troubadour, and thousands of other venues like it, over the next few months as doors remain shut amidst the global pandemic.

Pabllo Vittar

Vittar has announced a brand-new live experience, 111 Halloween Club Night, to take place on Halloween (Saturday, October 31). In partnership with online 3-D avatar site IMVU, the event will feature Vittar hosting her own spooky festival with special guests, DJ sets and a lot of great music.

The event will feature six digital “stages,” each with their own set of performers, including Vittar, Christine and the QueensKim PetrasPurity Ring and many more. Starting at noon UTC, each set of performers will take to the stage throughout the day, with Brooklyn-based duo Spirit Twin serving as producers throughout the day.

Along with giving fans some much-needed live music, the event will also raise funds for a good cause: 111 Halloween Club Night will help raise money for the National Independent Venue Association and their ongoing Save Our Stages campaign to provide economic relief to indie venues impacted by the global pandemic.

“It’s an honor to help curate this event with IMVU and all of the incredible artists,” Vittar said in a statement. “Let’s all get dressed up online for Halloween this year and help save our stages for when the world re-opens.”
