Alejandro Muñoz to Star in Lifetime’s “UnReal”

It’s about to get (un)real for Alejandro Muñoz

The Spanish actor has joined the cast of Lifetime’s UnReal for Season 4.

Set against the backdrop of the hit dating competition show Everlasting, UnReal is led by flawed heroine Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby), a young producer whose sole job is to manipulate her relationships with, and among, the contestants in order to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage that the program’s dispassionate executive producer, Quinn King (Constance Zimmer), demands.

Muñoz will portray Rodrigo, a cocky, international soccer star and former suitor who will have all the girls vying for his affection.

UnReal Season 3 was originally set to set to debut this summer, but it will now premiere on February 26, 2018 at 10/9c.

No premiere date for Season 4 has been announced.

Muñoz’s credits include the Spanish television series El secreto de Puente Viejo and the TV movie Ein Sommer in Barcelona.

Callica to Star in Lifetime’s “UnReal”

Jaime Callica’s life is about to get (un)real

The part-Spanish actor has joined the cast of Lifetime’s critically acclaimed series UnReal for its upcoming third season.

Callica, who has appeared in Wayward Pines, will portray Xavier, a hottie dancer and Jay’s (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman) new love interest.

Co-created by Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, UnReal gives a fictitious behind-the-scenes glimpse into the chaos surrounding the production of a dating competition program, Everlasting.

Shiri Appleby, Constance Zimmer, Josh Kelly and Genevieve Buchner are all set to return for Season 3.

Callica will next be seen in Lionsgate’s Power Rangers feature based on Saban Brands’ long-running kids series, slated for a March release.

Francia Raisa Cast in Lifetime’s Drama Pilot “Unreal”

Francia Raisa’s next project really is unreal

The 25-year-old Honduran and Mexican American actress has joined the cast of Shiri Appleby’s Lifetime’s drama pilot Unreal.

The project goes behind the scenes of a hit competition dating series to follow the experiences of a young staffer (Life Unexpected‘s Appleby) whose lone job is to manipulate the relationships with (and among) the contestants in order to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage producers demand.

Raisa will play Inez, a lesbian producer behind the scenes of the unscripted show who has a knack for finding great talent for the show.

Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro penned the pilot, which is based on the latter’s short, Sequin Raze.

Raisa’s credits also include The Mindy Project, The CW pilot Company Town and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
