She’s helped hundreds look their best for the cameras… And, now Mar Romero could be getting her own close-up…
The Latina hair and makeup artist could soon be starring in her own reality series on the Style Network.
Entitled Absolutely MARvelous, the series—currently under development—will center on the life and times of the San Diego-native, the owner and founder of TEAM, a high-end hair and makeup styling company based in Santa Barbara, California.
TEAM executes more than 200 events a year, including hundreds of specialized upscale weddings, editorial photo shoots, commercials and red carpet events.
“For me, the most important aspect of working with a bride is to make her feel as confident as possible. Every woman is beautiful on her wedding day, and confidence is the purest form of beauty,” says Romero. “So, if the bride feels the most confident about herself, her beauty will reflect how she feels inside.”
Fierce, fabulous and feisty, Romero rules the roost with an iron fist and ferocious ambition; and she runs her company like a military general.
Romero, who recently launched a line of hair extensions, is working on her latest endeavor: leather totes and handbags. And, she has dreams of expanding her successful business to the East Coast.
