Industry forecasters suggest the set — which was released on October 9 through Interscope Records — may sell upwards of 110,000 equivalent album units in the week ending October 15.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

The top 10 of the October 31-dated Billboard 200 chart (where Gomez may debut at No. 1) is scheduled to be released on Billboard’s Web sites on Sunday, October 18.

Trailing not too far behind Gomez is The Game’s new album, The Documentary 2, which might shift around 90,000 or more. It’s the first of a two-part release for the rapper, who will issue the second half of the set, The Documentary 2.5, on Oct. 16.

Gomez previously led the list with her last studio effort, 2013’s Stars Dance (97,000 copies sold in its first week).

The Game has tallied three leaders: The R.E.D. Album (2011), Doctor’s Advocate (2006) and The Documentary (2005).
