Richie to Appear on the Oprah Winfrey Network Web Series “Who I Am”

Nicole Richie is ready to answer the question, “Who Am I?”

The 32-year-old part-Mexican American fashion designer, author, actress and television personality will be part of a special Oprah Winfrey Network web series debuting on August 28.

OWN has been working out of YouTube Space LA for more than six months to experiment with digital formats and online talent. The result of that partnership is a growing slate of digital programming, including the new series Who Am I, which will feature interviews with celebrity guests, including Richie, about the qualities that define them.

After the first two episodes of Who Am I premiere this Thursday, subsequent two- to three-minute episodes will be made available each week.

In addition to Richie, guests will include beauty vlogger Michelle PhanBrandy, former American Idol judge Randy Jackson and La Toya Jackson.

Who Am I is the second digital series from OWN. #OWNSHOW, a daily series that features stories from the Oprah community, debuted in March with the relaunch of Oprah.com, a digital hub for the network, O, The Oprah Magazine and Harpo Studios.

Lovato Records Duet with Nick Jonas for His Upcoming Album

Demi Lovato has reunited with Nick Jonas… Musically speaking, that is.

The 21-year-old part-Mexican singer has recorded a duet with her frequent collaborator for his new album, as confirmed by the former Jonas Brothers member himself.

“We did one for my record,” Jonas told E! News. “It’s a great song that we both love. Her voice is just amazing on it. She’s the real deal. It’s the perfect fit for this record.”

Speaking to MTV last week, Jonas said he was working on several songs with Lovato. One of them is titled “Avalanche” and it will appear in his album.

“She and I recorded a song that, um, I think is beautiful. It’s not necessarily a love song. It’s so easy to do a duet that’s a love song because our relationship isn’t really that. But there is love there for a friend, you know, and it’s beautiful to just talk about,” he explained.

“Any kind of relationship can hit a point where if it’s not stable, it’s not secure then it’s like an avalanche crashing down and that’s what that song is about,” he said and added that he’s “excited for people to hear it.”

Jonas’ latest album, currently untitled, is scheduled to hit the stores in the fall.

Marking his first non-Jonas Brothers effort since 2010’s Who I Am (which was released under the name Nick Jonas & The Administration), the LP has been preceded by lead single “Chains.”
