It’s been nearly four years since Gloria Estefan released her last album, “90 millas”… But the Cuban American pop superstar is preparing to return to the airwaves in a big way, with help from one of the industry’s top dogs…

Estefan has enlisted the help of Cuban American dance-rap sensation, Pitbull. She’s releasing a super caliente remix of her latest single “Wepa.” Originally produced by Pharrell Williams, the updated version featuring Pitbull’s sizzling vocal stylings was remixed by Holland DJ R3hab.

This isn’t the first time the 53-year-old Latin diva and Pitbull have teamed up. Back in 2007, he was featured in a remix of Estefan’s single“No Llores,” well before anyone had really taken notice of Pitbull’s incredible talent.

Citing Estefan and Celia Cruz as key musical influences in his life, Pitbull became good friends with her and volunteered his services for the club-ready remix of “Wepa.”

The song is now available on iTunes.

Estefan is expected to release “Miss Little Havana,” her eleventh studio album, later this year.
