The song, written by Chaidez, takes the lead with a 19% gain in audience impressions to 7.2 million in the week ending June 20, according to MRC Data. The Sinaloan-born artist captures his fourth No. 1.

He previously reached the top of the list with the six-week ruler “Que Bonito Es Querer,” with his band Los Plebes (starting June 30, 2018).

California-based trio Eslabon Armado meanwhile secure their first Regional Mexican Airplay No. 1 after reaching a No. 3 high with “Con Tus Besos” (September 26, 2020-dated list).

Beyond its Regional Mexican Airplay win, “Te Encontré” also pushes to the top 10 on Latin Airplay with a 12-6 surge. It grants Chaidez his fourth top 10. Eslabon claim their first top 10 on the all-Latin genre chart.

Elsewhere, “Te Encontré” sees progress on Hot Latin Songs (which blends airplay, steaming data and sales). Boosted by its airplay gain and streaming activity increase (up 4%), the tune ascends 36-30.

The band is composed of Pedro Tovar on vocals, Gabriel Hidalgo on background vocals and harmony and Brian Tovar with the bass and bajoloche.
