Prinze Jr. to Guest Star on Lifetime’s “Witches of East End”

Freddie Prinze Jr. will be bewitching television audiences this fall…

The 37-year-old part-Puerto Rican actor will be guest starring in an episode of the upcoming Lifetime drama Witches of East End, in a part that will reunite him with his former Freddie co-star Madchen Amick.

Prinze Jr. will portrayLeo Wingate, a gallant and sweetly shy entomologist who falls head over heels for Wendy Beauchamp (Amick). Prinze Jr.’s character is said to specialize in rare and exotic insects, and he soon begins to wonder whether Wendy is more interested in his body or his bugs.

He’s set to guest star in the new series’ fourth episode, with more appearances possible.

On Freddie, a 2005-06 ABC comedy which starred and was created by Prinze Jr., Amick played the sister-in-law of the title character. Following the cancellation of that show, Prinze’s next high-profile TV gig was on Fox’s 24, where he played Cole Ortiz during the eighth season.

Recently, Prinze Jr. also booked a guest spot on the season premiere of Bones.

Witches of East End will premiere on Sunday, October 6 at 10:00 pm.
