“I’ve always admired Tommy Hilfiger’s cool, all-American designs which are sophisticated and easy to wear, and I’m excited to be partnering with the brand,” says Nadal.

Nadal, who previously served as a spokesmodel for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans’ autumn/winter 2011-2012 campaign, has signed up as the fashion label’s global brand ambassador in 2015, as well as appear in campaigns for its tailored collection.

“Rafael Nadal has been a longtime personal friend and supporter of our brand, and I’m continuously inspired by his dedication and passion for his sport,” says Hilfiger about his selection. “This exclusive partnership brings one of the greatest athletes of this generation into our Tommy family. Rafael embodies an effortless sense of style that exemplifies and reflects our brand spirit – he’s confident, fun and cool.”

The full campaign, which will be photographed in early 2015 in Nadal’s native Spain, will highlight Tommy Hilfiger’s new underwear collection. The line features “updated fits, revamped fabrics and elevated details” while the Autumn 2015 Tommy Hilfiger Tailored collection consists of ‘sharp silhouettes, modern tailoring and rich textures.’

The 42-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress—who was a blue-ribbon beauty on the red carpet at this year’s Academy Awards—morphed into a tough, high-fashion boxer for the cover and a special feature in the March issue of V magazine.

The American Idol judge—wearing designs by Emporio Armani, Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein, all while revealing her trademark six-pack abs and a little underboob—was photographed by Mario Testino, who shot Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s engagement portraits.

Lopez even donned men’s groin protectors because she “thought it was more graphic.”

J.Lo, who learned to box for her role in Money Train and later mastered Krav Maga for the thriller Enough, insists she’s always been a fighter.

“I’ve always felt like a tough girl from the Bronx, but I have a soft core,” Lopez tells V magazine. “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds.”

Nadal Sizzles & Strips in New Armani Commercial…

Spanish tenista Rafael Nadal flashes his oh-so-ripped physique in a new short film for the Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans‘ autumn/winter 2011-2012 campaign.

Shot by noted Swedish-director Johan Renck, the black-and-white commercial features the 25-year-old Spanish tennis star and former World No. 1 undressing himself while running through an empty parking garage.

The clip—sadly less than a minute long—starts with footage of Nadal sprinting through an empty parking lot in black tie attire. As he races through the garage, Nadal starts undressing himself until he ends up in just his underwear. Once he gets into an elevator, he changes into a new pair of Armani Jeans and denim jacket.

“[W]orking with Armani, [it] is a new experience,” Nadal recently told Women’s Wear Daily. “It’s a different world that is very positive for me. I enjoy it a lot.”

In August, Emporio Armani unveiled Nadal’s sexy ads at Macy’s in New York City’s Herald Square. The images were shot in Mallorca, Spain, by noted photographer Steven Klein. In one steamy black and white photo, Nadal is hiking up his unbuttoned jeans and exposing his washboard; the second features Nadal in slicked-back hair and white boxer-briefs.

Giorgio Armani has previously gushed about the tennis star, “[Nadal] is the ideal image because he represents a healthy and positive model for young people.”
