Guzman’s “Step Up All In” Hitting Theaters in July 2014

It’s official… Ryan Guzman will dance his way back onto the big screen (and into our corazones) in July…

Summit Entertainment has announced plans to release Step Up All In, starring the 26-year-old half-Mexican American actor, on July 25, 2014.

In this, the fifth chapter of the popular Step Up franchise, Guzman will reprise his role as Sean from 2012’s Step Up Revolution.

He’ll star opposite Step Up 2: The Street’s Briana Evigan in the Trish Sie-directed Step Up 5.

Guzman, who most recently appeared in a recurring role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, has been cast opposite Jennifer Lopez in the thriller The Boy Next Door.

The 25-year-old half-Mexican actor and Step Up Revolution star will star opposite  Step Up 2: The Street’s Briana Evigan in the Summit Entertainment dance franchise Step Up 5.

Guzman and Evigan will reprise their roles as Sean and Andie, respectively, as the fivequel reunites more than a dozen cast members from previous films in the franchise.

Despite being rumored for another franchise appearance, original Step Up star Channing Tatum is not among the returning cast confirmed by the studio.

Fan favorites Adam Sevani (Moose), Misha Gabriel (Eddy), Alyson Stoner (Camille), Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss (Jason), Mari Koda (Jenny Kido), Chris Scott (Hair), Luis Rosado (Monster), Chadd Smith (Vladd AKA Robot Guy), and Martin & Facundo Lombard (The Santiago Twins) will return for the fifth film in the franchise.

Series dancers Marc “Marvelous” Iniss, Nolan Padilla, Phillip Chbeeb, Bianca Brewton, Tony Bellissimo, Josue “Beastmode” Figueroa and Brandy Lamkim will also return for the sequel being directed by Trish Sie.

Also joining Step Up 5 is Izabella Miko in a supporting role. Miko will play Alexxa, the entertainment director for luxury Vegas hotel Valhalla, who hosts a dance contest to find the best crew in the world. The winning team inks a three-year contract to perform in Vegas.
