It’s official! Gisele Bündchen is one of the new faces of Givenchy…
The 31-year-old Brazilian supermodel appears in the company’s Spring 2012 campaign.
Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, Bündchen appears in front of a black pick-up truck on a stormy beach wearing a not-so-spring-appropriate black leather outfit while flanked by two models and a black Labrador.
Despite the dark attire and gloomy background, there’s no denying Gisele—one of the most powerful women in the world—looks absolutely stunning with her golden locks and bronzed gams.
Bündchen had previously closed Givenchy’s Spring/Summer 2012 show at Paris Fashion Week in October, walking in designer Richard Tisci‘s creations, which helped fuel rumors that she’d be appearing in the company’s next ad campaign.
While most fashionistas believe warm weather clothing should consist of bright hues, floral prints and flowy silhouettes, Givenchy flipped the script for its Spring 2012 collection with a line that has gritty attitude, including sharp-shouldered jackets, laser cut leather and curve-hugging frocks.
