Selena Gomez Earns Three MTV Movie & TV Awards Nominations

Selena Gomez has three chances to walk away a winner…

The 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominees have been announced, with the 30-year-old Mexican American singer/actress earning three nods.

Selena GomezGomez is up for Best Music Documentary for her acclaimed film My Mind & Me. She’ll compete against Jennifer Lopez, who received a nod in the same category for Halftime.

Gomez is also nominated in the Best Kiss category for her smooch with Cara Delevingne in Only Murders in the Building, as well as Best Performance in a Show for Only Murders in the Building.

But Gomez isn’t the only three-time nominee…

Jenna Ortega is nominated for Best Hero, Best Performance in a Show and Best Duo alongside Thing for Wednesday.

Pedro Pascal has earned two nods for his work on The Last Of Us. The Chilean actor is up for Best Hero and Best Duo alongside Bella Ramsey.

Bad Bunny is a two-time nominee for his feature film acting debut in Bullet Train. In addition to Breakthrough Performance, the 29-year-old Puerto Rican rap superstar and actor is up for Best Fight alongside Brad Pitt.

Demi Lovato is up for Best Song for her single “Still Alive” from Scream VI; Diego Luna is up for Best Hero for his work on Andor; Aubrey Plaza is up for Best Performance in a Show for The White Lotus; and Camila Mendes is nominated for Best Duo alongside Maya Hawke for Do Revenge.

Fans can vote for their favorites in movies and television across 26 gender-neutral categories by visiting vote.mtv.com through April 17 at 6:00 pm ET.

The ceremony, hosted by Drew Barrymore, will air live from Barker Hangar in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET while fans on the West Coast will have to wait until 8 p.m. PT to tune in.
