Following her recurring role on ABC Family’s Bunheads, Jeanine Mason has landed her next television project.

The 22-year-old Cuban American actress/dance, the season five winner of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, has landed a role in Fox’s drama pilot Delirium.

Based on Lauren Oliver’s book trilogy, the project is set in a world where love is deemed illegal and can be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway (Emma Roberts) falls in love.

Mason will portray Lena’s best friend Hana, a girl also faces undergoing the procedure. She’s described as “a flirty girl who lives next door to Julian Fineman (Gregg Sulkin) and enjoys messing with his head.” She’s ultimately less rebellious than she looks.

Billy Campbell, Corey Reynolds and Daren Kagasoff co star in the pilot for 20th Century Fox Television and Chernin Entertainment, which was written and will be executive produced by Karyn Usher.

Mason’s other television credits include guest-starring roles in Big Time Rush and The Fresh Beat Band.
