FilmDistrict has announced an April 5, 2013 release date for Dead Man Down, which stars Rapace and Colin Farrell.

In the Niels Arden Oplev-helmed film, Farrell stars as Victor, a professional killer and the right-hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City who’s seduced and blackmailed by Rapacae’s character Beatrice, a crime victim seeking retribution.

In addition to Rapace and Farrell, the cast includes Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper.

In addition Rapace, the original Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, is set to star opposite Rachel McAdams in Brian DePalma’s latest thriller Passion.
