Alice Braga has a new Squad…

Filmmaker James Gunn has tweeted out the cast list for Warner Bros.’ upcoming The Suicide Squad, with the 36-year-old Brazilian actress making the list.

In addition to Braga, thosenot announced yet which Gunn unveiled include Michael Rooker, Joaquin Cosio, Mayling Ng, Sean Gunn, Jennifer Holland, Juan Diego Botto, Tinashe Kajese and Julio Ruiz. 

Additionally, Gunn confirmed Pete Davidson and Taika Waititi who had previously been revealed to be in talks to join the cast. 

Also, those included on the list were previously announced Nathan Fillion, Steve Agee, Peter Capaldi and Flula Borg.

Gunn wrote the script to The Suicide Squad. Chuck Roven and Peter Safran are producing. 

The Suicide Squad will be released on August 6, 2021.

Braga stars in USA’s Queen of the South and has starred in films like I Am Legend, Predators and the upcoming Fox/Marvel film The New Mutants. 

Cosio, a 56-year-old Mexican actor, previously portrayed one of the main villains in the James Bondfilm Quantum of Solace, and acted alongside Benicio del Toro in Oliver Stone‘s gritty thriller, Savages. 

Botto, a 44-year-old Argentine-Spanish actor, most recently starred on the television series Good Behavior.

The Suicide Squad goes into production on September 23 at Pinewood in Atlanta.
